I understand the Glen Burnie Maryland post office is the only US GOVT operation of which the employees are allowed to run the asylum with NO SUPERVISION or work ethic. They cannot even be bothered to answer the phone. They make jokes in the back about how much they dislike their jobs and the customers. Especially the white customers. I got to hear that a couple weeks ago while tendering a package. No apology from anyone in the front just a bunch of laughs. I guess white people are just scum as far as the post office is concerned. That explains why it takes 5 days to get a package delivered once it arrives at their facility. Try to give them a call.

Black big guy with plaque on his teeth didn’t send my package due to the box label and two labels being on one box for the same destination which that’s how it was sent and the company told me to put two labels on the box. I never heard of that! Worst USPS ever and this was my second trip there first trip they wouldn’t scan the QR code to return it and print the label so I had to wait 25 minutes for the library to open! Worst USPS!!!!

Not sure about the postmaster as other people have noted, but the clerk (C3, 28 Oct, 12:06PM) I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful and helped me return some items with the Label Broker after the self service machine was unable to help. Incredibly friendly staff that is accommodating and empathetic!

I am a former employee of the Glen Burnie Post Office(Post 40). I just want to start off by saying Cheryl(the postmaster) does not care about ANYONE but the higher ups who call and complain. She's been working for usps for about 23 years. She has literally told me nothing or nobody will get in her way of retiring because someone called and complained about something I did by mistake. I never received my first pay check. Cheryl gave me a money order. I still don't understand why I never received it.So Sundays are usually what they call "Amazon" days because they only drop off packages. Start time 7am and usually for the newer employees who haven't made a year yet. I noticed Bob(A supervisor) would almost demand the newer employees to come in as early as 3-4 in the morning. So when I stopped showing up on Sundays all together because I didn't feel comfortable delivering packages in the dark, nothing happened. Come to find out, legally we weren't supposed to be out there that early. So Bob would spread our time throughout the week so it didn't look like he had people coming in that early.Another acting supervisor I want to talk about is John. He seems cool at first until you get know him. When I first started, he would have me come in early with nothing to do. Then try to find something for me to do inside the building. Then when I became a little more familiar with the job he would start taking my off days away on a weekly basis. The moment I realized John was little off/powertripping, he almost got into a physical altercation with one of the CCAs/Shop Steward.Lastly, one morning I was preparing my route when I was HIT by a package and someone called my name. I turned around and realized it was Kee(CCA/Supervisor). Kee is one of their best workers who has been in 4 accidents in a mail truck in the past year. I turned around thinking he was about to apologize, but he continued preparing his route like nothing happened. So I approached him and made him understand how serious the situation was and to not let it happen again. I also tried to escalate the situation the right way, but to no avail. In conclusion, this was my first and last experience as a mailman. They are manipulating people's time, playing with people lives, and getting away with it. They've been getting away with for YEARS. As long as the people I mentioned are still there that place will always have problems!

was expecting a pair of glasses being mailed to my house today and they make a note that they couldn't deliver to my address because apparently my house is a business that's closed. Don't bother calling, they don't know how to answer a phone there, been calling for 2+ hours now

Amazing customer service! Never been to a better post office with better employees. Makes trips to the post office so much easier!

This office is awful. If I could give negative stars I would. Damaged mail, packages missing. New management definitely needed. Rude carriers and wrong mail.

Five stars apparently means I loved it. That's an overstatement. I went in, bought stamps, and left. It was a simple and efficient transaction with no issues. Hence, no reason to deduct any stars.

When I walked in I noticed a employee talking to a customer near the front door I could tell the customer was a regular. I waited until they were finished and asked my questions and the same employee went out of her way to SHOW me about paying to have my package shipped as she explained the pricing. I felted that this type of customer service is non existing nowadays. I had to leave a great review. As a business owner this was a must.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Since moving here, I’ve gotten other peoples mail or had my things delivered to the wrong person on an almost monthly basis. If you try to call, be prepared to take an hour out of your day calling over and over 20+ times for someone to actually answer. If you ever need to place your mail on hold, thoroughly expect to come home to a full mail box and packages on your doorstep. This has happened more than once, even after calling (20+ times) to remind them of the mail hold. I’ve had to leave notes in my mailbox for my mail person to find so they can fix mistakes they’ve made. I’ve had to chase them down in their car when they’ve locked my packages up in someone else’s box and I can’t get to it. I’ve never in my life had so many issues with the postal service until moving here.

They lost my package. UPS says they delivered it to them back on 2/18/23. Called customer service and they pretty much said "well we can't do anything because the package hasn't been accepted at the post office yet." Seriously? The item in question was part of a limited collection! Pretty sure someone just didn't scan it in properly and it's sitting in a corner somewhere...

They always put our mail in the wrong boxes at my apartment complex “The Elms” in Millersville. And they literally left some of our mail, different apartments, on the FLOOR!!!! Didn’t even put it in our locked mailboxes. Filing a complaint TODAY!!!

I am impressed by the representative who helped me. Though it was the end of the day during this busy holiday season, she was very pleasant and did her job well
