Had an issue with an improper windshield reinstall that resulted in a trim piece coming off on the highway. It's been months and I'm no closer to getting this trim piece replaced. Terrible communication, incompetent staff. Avoid Safelite!

My back windshield was shattered earlier this week.. The day it happened (Tuesday), I scheduled an appointment with Safeflite to come to me & replace. This morning (Thursday) was the appointment & the time frame they were supposed to arrive was 8am-12pm. The technician calls me at 8:30 to tell me we need to reschedule because of a neck injury he got a few days ago & the next available appointment wasn’t until NEXT WEDNESDAY. Apparently he let the company know of the injury but they still kept him scheduled for his appointments (which is all questionable to me). & that he was the only “available” technician in the area (questionable again). Annoyed, I still wished him a quick recovery & called the main customer number. LONG STORY SHORT, the only option they offered to me was bringing my car to them. Despite that fact that there’s glass ALL OVER & I have two young kids that that sit in backseat & had no intention on driving until fixed, it would also a 2 hour appointment.. that neither of my kids would sit for. HENCE SCHEDULING A MOBILE APPOINTMENT.
Anywho. They sucked. Weren’t accommodating whatsoever. Thankfully I was able to schedule with another company. But I expected better from Safeflite.

Went to satellite today and talked to Brittany about getting some work done she was very knowledgeable and honest with me and did not try to upsell me if you need work done go ask for Brittany she is so kind and sweet thanks a lot Brittany

They have absolutely no one to answer phones, only recorded messages. Terrible customer service, and they don’t provide actual full quotes online whatsoever so the only way to get a quote is to pay and then find out, awful.

Do not go here. Scheduled an appointment three days prior for a glass swap on windshield due to large crack. Showed up for my appointment at 9am and was told there was a three hour wait so I went across the street to grab breakfast and then returned at 2 hours later. 10 minutes before the 3-hr wait estimation window I was given, a tech tells me the replacement glass had a huge scratch and he has to order a new one. So I took off work and waited for 3 hours for absolutely nothing.
Why is the glass not checked three days ahead when the appointment was made? Why was the glass not checked when I showed up for my appointment at 9am? This service was unacceptable and very inconsiderate of my time. I do not recommend using these guys.

Bill will damage your car. I have been attempting to get a resolution to my issue and seems as if the company could care a less. Would not recommend.

Not one to really post a negative review but one should be warned. We have two cars that needed windshields replaced. My spouse arranged both, mine to be done at work by this shop, hers down at home by Windsor Mill. Monday, no show, no call, no nothing. Call and reschedule for Tuesday. This time I call to ask where the tech is and a woman in Michigan says he might not be there until 6:30 -- we have an event at work, so I'm staying late anyway. She says she or someone will call back. 7:30, no show, no call, no nothing. My wife reschedules with Windsor Mill office and they came out today and replaced. Terrible, terrible Glen Burnie shop. When a customer pays premium service, they expect service rendered. Do better.

Their customer service is bad, they destroyed my windshield, completely smashed it, I've been stuck without a car for two weeks, I'm calling to find out when the new windshield will arrive because they destroyed my previous one during the replacement and they don't know when it will arrive, don't go near this place! They don't know how to serve people.

scam! they scamming people!
I'm warning you guys, do yourself a favor and don't ever go near this place, I ordered a windshield for my car, they made a mistake with the order, they ordered the wrong windshield and not only did they make a mistake with the windshield, they also completely smashed my previous windshield during the replacement, I've been without a car for a whole month and they Can't find a solution to the situation and worst of all they don't care at all, they don't take responsibility for the mistake they made and leave me in this situation!

WOW! So Professional & Fast!
I had an appointment at 9AM but I got there a littele early around 8:35AM. Once the receptionist processed my appointment, the technician repaired the crack on my Tesla Model Y windshield in less than 15 minutes and I was out of there at 8:58AM. It was the best professional and fast service I ever received from an auto repair shop. Good Job and Best Businesses! V/r,

Got a new windshield today at this location. They staff at this location is super from the customer service to the service itself. I don’t know about other locations but this one is the absolute best. Thank you for taking care of my Tahoe today.

Not recommend for glass repair - especially on a luxury vehicle. I originally had a mobile appointment in which I waited a half day for them to show up and this business was a no show and they didn’t call to say what happened or to reschedule. My reschedule with Geico was a nightmare. When I went in to have the repair work done they were quick - around 15 minutes - but the repair wasn’t quality. Also, the tech did not vacuum up the spare pieces in the windshield (exterior and interior) after he was done. This showed me that he went to fast and did sloppy work. I have had other glass repairs done and after the repair the rock chip was almost invisible. I was informed by Geico that the work couldn’t be done over. I am not pleased and will not return to this location.

Given the run around when scheduling an appointment. Originally had a mobile appointment window scheduled for Friday 12-5pm and the technician wasn’t able to come during the timeframe. Then rescheduled for the next morning at 9am but was not told by the scheduler that it would be in-person at a shop instead of a mobile service and so missed the appointment because I was waiting at home. Going on a week with no passenger window on my commuter and keep missing service due to very poor communication and little effort to rectify.
