“I purchased a coloring book online for $8.00. When it arrived there was a $3.00 sticker on the cover. I called customer service to see if I could get a refund for the difference. I was told no, that the price online is the items price. I then asked to speak with a supervisor. When the supervisor answered she restated the same thing and told me there was nothing that could be done. I again, tried to explain that the price on the book was only $3.00 and that if I attempted to remove the sticker the book would be destroyed. Keep in mind, the other book did not have a sticker and I paid less than $8.00 for it. The supervisor again said there was nothing that could be done. I asked for a refund and was told one would be started but it never was. I went to my local Walmart, explained the same issue and was given a refund for the difference along with an apology for the inconvenience. With that being said, the customer service department online/ over the phone has really gone downhill. I hope the Walmart corporation finds better employees to deal with their customers online/over the phone, then what they currently have. Again, thank you Glen Burnie Chesapeake Center Walmart for exemplifying great customer service. You listen to my issue, made a logical decision and apologized for the inconvenience.”

“* Wide, clutter free aisles. * Most of the times they have enough checkout lines open. * Friendly checkers who always smile and/ or engage with you. * Good sales. And generally good prices when things are not on sale. * Nice meat selections Where sometimes I have gotten incredible bargains on items that they have reduced as a " purchase today". Last week I got a chicken for $4.15. From this chicken I got an entire pot of chicken noodle soup with really good broth so it was a quality chicken. Enough chicken to make six more meals. I kid you not! We Jokingly equated this chicken with the biblical story of the loaves and fishes. 1 dinner and 6 lunches for $4.15. Shopping wise Food Lion Is one of the better Chains and I wish They would come come north to Philadelphia.”
