Food Lion is a great store and a place to go for all food shopping needs. It is easy to get to off the highway. The store is always very clean and the staff are very helpful and polite. Prices are reasonable with frequent BOGO deals and Manager sale prices, especially on sodas and different meats. The produce is fresh and usually sweet, and there is a nice variety. The store has an amazing little bakery and deli that customizes cakes. Self check out is available. While they almost always have what customers need, some note a desire for more organic fresh produce, a greater variety of items in every department, very small cans of vegetables, and more consistent skim milk stock. Despite this, many love shopping there.
