I'd rather spend the extra 50 cents to shop in a respectable store than share my time with the scum of society who shop here. Even driving through the parking lot is like visiting a third world country. If you shop here, wear a mask because the best variant of covid will probably come from here, and you don't want anyone to see your face and know how desperate you must be to be crawling through this sewer to save a couple quarters.

A pretty big Walmart with a lot of different centers/amenities. It's part of a larger mall complex/area with a lot of big box stores that are located very close to a lot of the main roads in Germantown and to I-270 itself, making it very convenient to access. It didn't stand out too much otherwise but seems to have everything people would look for in a relatively easy-to-access location.

Best time to go is as early in the AM as possible. Otherwise you're at their mercy. You snooze, you lose.Floors are clean and produce items are abundant & parking close to the store is a breeze. Tip: I park in Best Buy lot adjacent to Walmart.

Auto care center is out of whack. I should never have brought my car here for a wheel balance. They told me it was done they told me I had one bent rim and I left. I got on the highway and it was shaking like crazy. I called and they kept putting me on hold so I gave up. The next day I called for 3 hours and got no answer. I finally drove up there and the auto care center was closed. Called the store and got a hold of a female manager that was dismissive then a male manager picked up and met me outside with one of the auto care people. They started asking me if there was something else wrong with my car and blah blah blah. I trained as an autotech for 2 years and have been working on cars for 16 years now. I'm not a regular customer that you can explain away your crappy work. They said there was nothing they could do and told me to go to Pep boys to get the balance corrected. I did. When we spun all 4 wheels on the balancer not a single wheel was bent as Walmart had claimed. 2 wheels were off by more than one ounce of weight, the third by .75 ounces and the fourth was only off by .25oz. The tech and I presume that Walmart does not calibrate their wheel balancer weekly as is standard practice. Now I paid double to another shop to correct this stores terrible work.

This is the most disgraceful Walmart in the USA.The employees could care less about the customers.There is a curbside sign with a phone number to call to check in. Nobody answers this phone 24/7, so why even put up the signs?This is the most disgraceful Walmart in America.

OIL CHANGE SCAMI took my car in 1 week ago to get an oil change. The sign states that included with an oil change is the oil filter, vacuuming the car, cleaning the windows, and refilling the windshield washer fluid. None of which was done. Not only was I charged the full price of the oil change but I was charged an additional fee because the shop said they didn't have a filter for my 2021 car which is not an antique, unusual, or classic car which they wouldn't have an oil filter for! So they told me they took it off the shelf and gave me a partial credit for what was a stock filter they didn't have, then charged me more for the one off the shelf. This is unacceptable. It's not my fault you don't have my oil filter in stock, and I should be credited the full amount of the oil filter you took off the shelf. I heard the same story a year ago when I brought my other car in for an oil change. I feel that offering an oil change for a stated price and then failing to give the customer all the advertised services and in fact further CHARGING EVEN MORE THAN THE STATED PRICE isn't acceptable. If this was the first time it happened, I can understand, but this is the same story as I said a year ago. I'm going to contact the attorney general for the state of Maryland and the consumer protection company.

I wish I could give it zero stars! This has been by far the worst online experience with grocery delivery. I contacted their 800 number who directed me to call the store that would be sending the delivery. I have yet to reach anyone at the store after 6 calls to ask about my delivery since it is now 5 1/2 hours late. I spent over 400 dollars and set a time since people in my household have jobs. Now no one is home and IF anything is even delivered, the groceries will sit outside of my home until I get off work tomorrow due to being a first responder that works 24 hr shifts! I don't know what I expected from Walmart but I only gave them a try because my Amex was offering some deals from them and I did need some items from the grocery store. I am preparing not only to cancel my order now but to also contact Amex regarding this incident.

One of the worst Walmart store on the East coast. Why? - Staff is unmotivated. They don't want to be bothered. - Can't get help in the ammo/fishing/sports section. The associates covering this section ALWAYS abandon their post. on Saturday 1/14/23 at 11:00am nobody could help. They couldn't find the keys to access the items in the locked display. We watched them scramble for 30min looking for keys. We just left. - Electronics display is empty. Was looking for airpods and non were displayed. I usually don't ask for help in stores. But I did this time and to my surprise, they had them hidden somewhere. If the Frederick MD Walmart can have them displayed, so can you. Figure it out. - Not a clean store at all. Always disorganized and missing inventory. management should visit neighboring Walmarts and observe, seriously. - Missing prices. You can't freekin find prices on too many items. They removed the price check machines so now you have to go though the long lines at the registers just to get a price. - Very few open registers even on busy days like Sat or Sun afternoon. Long lines that extend into the shopping area and impede traffic/shopping.

This location only has one good thing going for it, low prices. That is if you are lucky enough to find the item you want in this dirty looking, cluttered and disorganized store. Even if they app says they have it in stock, it may or may not be there, and if it's out of stock who knows when it will be back. I have done curbside pick up three times, and each time I have had a problem with missing items or products they substituted without asking so I end up having to go inside anyway and wait for a surly customer service person to refund me. To me, the whole point of curbside pick up is getting what you need without having to go into the store.

The only good thing about Walmart are the reasonable prices. Besides that, not really a good store to go to. The people who go there are inconsiderate and rude. Even the employees since they do not want to help if you ask them a question. Like, I had asked them to look up a couple of items to see if they had them in store and one of the emploees simply said, "I don't know. If you don't see them on the shelves, then we probably don't have it in stock." And went back to looking at her phone and sitting down. Didn't even bother checking. Asked for a Blu-ray DVD title and a Beats earphones in a different color than the ones on display and didn't get any assistance. Called for help in the Ribbon aisle and nobody came. I don't know what kind of people are hired at this place, but nobody seems to want to do their job properly...Crowds and crowds of people are always at this store no matter the day or time. Parking is always a mess. Long lines at registers and even Self Checkout is a stressful experience in itself. Not my kind of store, that's for sure!!!

One of the busiest super centers I've been to in MD. Can be a bit chaotic . The huge parking lot was close to 90% filled, which definitely a good thing for business, but the shop seems to try to pack in as much merchandise as they can by sacrificing the aisle space ...no 2 carts can go pass each other in the same aisle Halloween costumes aisles were especially messy and there was no one there to clean them up. They do have a good selections of Halloween bake goods decorations, worth to check out.

Went there yesterday because the person I was with wanted to go. The restroom in the front of the store was filthy. One stall had a commode that was covered over with plastic, obviously out of order. 2 stalls were locked shut though not occupied. The other 3 were backed up and full of waste. When I reported this to a manager I was told to use the facility in the back. The store had a terrible sewer gas smell all across the back. The restroom had 2 stalls with broken doors & 2 that were occupied by employees. After I used the restroom I tried to wash my hands but there wasn't any soap in the only dispenser. Both of the employees who had let the water run after using the toilet obviously could not have washed their hands properly. When I addressed this with the same manager as I had spoken to before she said "What do you want me to do about it, I'm trying to take care of the 1st thing you complained about. Never going there again.

At the germantown, customer service dept, store, Rashida and Margie (?) were blessings. Rashida worked incredibly hard and wss very patient; yet, she does not feel appreciated by a male supervisor, nor the store itself. Rashida expressed she is a single mother of a baby and is solely dependent for him. She busted her butt the entire time my husband & I were there; yet Rashida expressed what she hears is her short comings in her employment. She does not feel appreciated. After hearing and seeing this and knowing a long-time friend experienced the same thing working at this location, it makes me very hesitant of shopping here.
