New African American lady (likely a manager) is a complete jerk. Always has an attitude and refuses to answer to/help out people who aren’t African American. She just walks away or ignores. Kinda disgusting how blatant discrimination is allowed at PF.

Horrible customer service. Canceling membership immediately. They don’t care about their members, willing to lose the last 29 members they have left lol GOODBYE! Work on your people skills or get out of customer service. Horrible!

Really clean, all machines work, and if there's a machine thats broken it gets fixed really fast but they rarely break. They also have all the equipment a gym needs, dumbells up to 75 lbs, only thing they're missing is a free weight bar but that's standard in all planet fitness gyms. The staff is really nice and welcoming and it's just a really good gym all around. Definitely worth the membership.

Today Tuesday July 9th at 8pm I came to renovated my BLACK CARD inscription that I had a year and for work I canceled it 2 months ago, today I was attended by Joshua an attention of the worst, I told him that I needed to enroll again and he had no tact to ask me things and I told him that he has to learn customer service and he told me to go away, getout of here, I told him he had a bad attitude and that I wanted to talk to the person in charge or the manager and he told me there is the card and immediately I wanted to talk to Tariq Manna (Club Manager) and when I called the call came directly to the desk of this Mr. Josua and he said I will not give you the personal number...
The truth is that I left super unhappy with the attention and offended because he yelled at me in front of all the costumers of the gym....
I hope you take as feedback to know who you put in front of your company.

Had an appointment with a trainer by 6:30pm on a Monday. While making the appointment, I told the service desk staff my challenges with getting to the gym on time given I would be traveling from Hagerstown. Unfortunately, between traffic and difficulty finding parking at the gym, I arrived at 6:37pm and the trainer refused to see me. The service desk staff told me the trainer canceled because I was late. Mind you, the trainer was still in the office but preferred to communicate with me through the service desk staff. I asked the service desk staff to ask the trainer for consideration given the distance I travelled and the difficulty in finding parking but she came back out and said the trainer refused to meet with me and I had to reschedule. The trainer did not have the courtesy to step out of the office and at the very least acknowledge my situation and try to find an amicable solution. I am very disappointed by the lack of consideration and terrible customer service from the trainer. Would not recommend this gym to anyone.

I love Planet Fitness! I've worked out at a bunch of other gyms including Lifetime Fitness, LA Fitness, and 24 Hour Fitness and Planet is my favorite! I especially love all the things I get with the Black Card membership and it's still less than the cost of every other gym I've been to.
Pros:
- Tons of high quality equipment
- Clean and professional
- Aesthetically nice inside
- Friendly, helpful staff
- Unlimited guests
- Massage chairs and hydro massages
- Rarely have broken equipment
- Lots of locations
- Great app
- Signing up and cancelling is a breeze
- Month-to-month memberships
Cons:
- Can get crowded on weekday evenings but I can usually find equipment
- No classes
I especially love Planet for lifting weights but if you're into powerlifting, olympic weights, or classes, its probably not the best fit.

The staff at the front desk are very helpful. The machines are available and working. Store is very clean and I love the massage chairs. Keep up the work guys

Edit: Unsafe gym, over crowded.
Continued: During the summer months Planet Fitness forces their paying customers to subsidize the admittance of non-members. The non-member guests flood the gym with no restrictions. They have no responsibility towards the gym and trash it. They never clean any of the equipment and constantly horse-play making the gym a dangerous environment at times.
Old review: Good customer service. Generally clean gym. Some malfunctioning equipment doesn't get fixed for a long time.

This Planet Fitness location is much more spacious than I anticipated and is the cleanest one I've visited. Additionally, it has equipment that the Greenbelt site doesn't have.
