Unfortunately I caught the owner today who decided she was going to talk to me like a child. Such a shame. They are very expensive but have always provided good service. Now they're just overpriced and flat out rude. I paid 28 dollars to tailor one set of sleeves and they forgot to do them. When I returned to ask them to fix it, the owner was annoyed I even showed up.

I had 7 pairs of jeans that needed to be hemmed. I was treated with professional care and was informed when they would be ready. I recommend them highly for alterations.

I've been coming to Lydia ever since i moved to germantown 10 years ago and her service never disappoint. The only person who i trust doing my tailor needs. The Team is very professional and always gets my garment done in a timely matter.

From the moment I walked into the shop I was given the personal experience. Excellent customer service!!I will only be using Lydia's for all my alterations, dry cleaning and shoe repair. As mother of the bride and needed a last minute alteration and have the dress just lightly pressed and what a beautiful work of art they did.

I’m sure Lydia does a great job and is a very talented seamstress. My encounter with her wasn’t a good one. She’s rude and seems irritated at customers. As if the job you’re giving her is a burden. I’ll be taking my alterations elsewhere.

Lydia is the BEST tailor around. I drive 30 mins from Bethesda (even though there are many tailors around me) to come see her because she does the best job with fair pricing. Lydia really understands clothes and knows what needs to be done on a garment before I even tell her. Go see her!

Tailored a suit for a wedding. Really well done and on time - just a bit pricey. Attached is an example: pants hem $15 pants taper $28. Also dry cleaning is expensive.

Told me the wrong pick up time and simply laughed when I came early and my wedding dress wasn’t ready. Overpriced and total waste of time.
