I came to get a drug test, brought my son. Once i sat down after checking in this African (American?) lady calls my name and i respond and dismisses me and speaks to her other front desk lady basically screaming how she can’t help me because I have a child with me, before I can even ask why and walks away yelling how she’s going to lunch.. She was rude, dismissive, disrespectful and actually disgusting. She needs more than training. I get it’s a high volume job but if you can handle talking to patients/customers LEAVE the job. It’s one thing to politely tell me she cannot help due to XYZ but she didn’t even address me. Avoid this location lol. Go to the location in Gaithersburg for drug tests

Clean, professional. I checked in 20 minutes before my appointment and was out the door within 15 minutes of checking in, before my appointment even started.

One day I went here and it was the quickest labcorp appointment I’ve ever been in, out within 10 minutes. The second time the employees were rude as hell and treated me disrespectfully for walking in 5 minutes early when the door was unlocked.

Staff at this location are loud and rude. Very slow and incompetent. Labcorp needs to review this facility. I am sure they have major quality and compliance related issues with the work staff are doing.

I had an exceptional experience at the Labcorp in Germantown. Tyreak Thomas provided outstanding customer service, going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. From the moment I walked in, he was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind, making the process comfortable and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to customer satisfaction, and Tyreak's commitment to excellence truly made a difference. Thank you, Tyreak, for an excellent experience

This labcorp has the best phlebotomists. They get five stars because they are open on Saturdays. Making an appointment makes the process rather smooth.

Very very bad customer service. I called about my test results and a rude lady at the answers to tell me to wait another 3 days, so technically wait a week for my results although I have been repeating the same exams over and over and gets the results within 2days. Horrible people at the patient facility room 315. I was literally told that I was going to get my results within two days I went there.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of interacting with Ms. Marquisa & Ms. Amayo from the Labcorp on Observation Blvd in Germantown! This was my first time at this location so I didn't know what to expect when I walked in. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The establishment was extremely clean and welcoming. My appointment was at 9:00am, and I was called up shortly thereafter, and greeted with a smile and an exemplary level of professionalism and outstanding customer service. There was a billing discrepancy and while they did their research I was treated with dignity and respect by these two ladies, which meant a lot to me. Once I was called back to get my blood drawn, Ms. Amayo ensured that I was comfortable and engaged me with small talk to ease my mind since I told her I hate needles. ? I was done by 9:18 and was able to make to work on time! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to be provided with outstanding customer service and not spend hours waiting to be seen.

Been twice and both experiences were about as pleasant as they could be, given the circumstances. In and out and FAST reporting to my employer. Just get there by 11a and (I can't guarantee, but I got results the same day) you should be ok.

5 stars for Chanel the phlebotomist who drew my blood this morning. She was accommodating, engaging, and kept me distracted through the blood draw which is something that gives me tons of anxiety and often causes me to faint. She even drew my blood from a less common vein to accommodate the fact that I have frequent blood draws. She should be in charge and given a raise. She even listened to my concerns about the rudeness of the other tech. I really didn’t want to take things out on her, but I was anxious and scared and it may come across as anger in the moment. This is how it’s done. This is professionalism.0 stars for the first phlebotomist, a slightly older African or Caribbean woman with glasses. She was rude from the moment I walked into the clinic. I walked to the window because I was the only person in the waiting room and without even saying good morning she said “use the iPad”. So I did. Then the same woman called my name and asked for my paper, at that point she was able to say a simple good morning. I then heard her say something about how she isn’t paid enough from my seat in the waiting room. When I was called back into the draw room I went to sit on the reclined chair and she told me “no”. I told her I have problems with fainting and prefer to lay down. Her response was to scoff and say, “my back”. I immediately asked for someone else to draw my blood because I don’t want anyone to touch me who is not competent of their job. Chanel to the rescue! It’s wholly inappropriate for a service provider to openly make it clear she doesn’t want to accommodate your medical need. A vasovagal reaction is common and needs to be accommodated, for everyone’s safety. If she can’t physically perform the job duties and also doesn’t have good bedside manner she shouldn’t be working there.

I was at Labcorp on Observation Drive this morning, Thursday, July 6th, 2023. I clicked the button while still in my car that I was here. I went upstairs and there was a man outside and he said he was told he can't go in until exactly 8am. There is a waiting room - why can't you wait there. Doesn't make any sense. Anyway, I got a text saying the lab technician was ready for me. I went in and sat down. A woman in a white coat, no name tag told me they don't open until 8am. My appointment was for 8am. I told her I got a text saying they were ready. She proceeded to yell at me, saying no they don't open until 8am which was fine since my appointment was for 8am. She yelled at me again and said check your text. I repeated in a normal voice that I got a text. She yelled again and said check you text. As it turned out I was at the wrong lab but yelling at a patient is not the way to handle any situation. I don't like to describe anyone but since she didn't have a name tag and I hope Labcorp reads this I need to describe her. She was a black woman with short curly black hair. I've seen her before when I've been to this lab. She was over the top rude. I think she needs to not be in charge of this lab plus she needs training in how to talk with patients.
