Absolute cons! Did a phone trade in and looked up a certain trade in price online which was not what they were offering in store because they scammed the system by making the condition of the item lower then what it was. SCAMMERS FR! Took $50 out of the original trade in price! DO NOT DO TRADE INS AT THIS GAME STOP! Unless you have proof off your trade in value!!!

Had a wonderful experience. Derek helped my family out finding a game and gave console info. Very knowledgeable and will keep coming back to shop there thanks to him. My man deserves a raise

The staff isn’t really into customer service. I have called multiple times and no one answered.

An employee declined to sell me a game by claiming the only way I could’ve gotten it is if I had to preorder in advance. I know how pre ordering works and besides the game has been released for a month now and she denied to sell it to me because it was polemic and was against her “beliefs”.After that I went to Walmart right and was able to find 4 copies of the game… The store itself is okay, it’s employees like her that ruin the service.

Most the time at this location, I have a very smooth and enjoyable interaction. Except on 12/6/22 at 1:30pm when I came to make a purchase three customers were having a heated conversation. Everyone was minding their business since no one was loud but an employee, named Nate, stopped everything to intervene in their conversation, stating it's "his store", and said he was going to call the cops. I disagreed with Nate and he denied me my purchase of a Funko pop, saying if I didn't leave the cops are being put on me too. Worst customer service I've had in a while.

Let me start out by saying I would strongly not recommend shopping here. That being said, if you would like to understand why I feel this way, please allow me to explain my experience. I have been saving up points for a little while so I could use them for 20 dollars in coupons. When in the store at Germantown, I was on the fence between 2 used games. When trying to decide the game to purchase, the sales representative informed me that I could try out any used game and bring it back within 30 days for a full refund. Once I have learned about the return system, I decided to buy a 40 dollar used game with 20 dollars of coupons I saved with my points, a trade in game, and a remainder of 14 dollars from cash. When returning to home and trying out the game, I realized the game is awful. On the following day, I returned back to GameStop for an exchange for a different game. I found the game I would like to take home and it was 38 dollars, a fair trade for the 40 dollar game I bought the previous day. When getting checked out, the sales representative stated that I now owe 20 dollars for the difference. Confused with this transaction, I asked why. The store clerk then explained to me that I only paid 20 dollars of my own cash and that the coupons where no longer valid, the clerk also had an attitude at this point. I told the clerk to call the manager after I was informed I owe money. After the clerk got off the phone with the manager, she than told me they can only do a fair trade and I wasn’t going to get the 2 dollars back. After all said and done, this whole experience was just stupid and unnecessary. It finally makes sense why GameStop is going out of business slowly. It’s business is all about milking as much as they can from consumers. I would strongly recommend shopping at your local family owned gaming store, not GameStop. Best of luck

Went in during the week. place had a weird smell like it flooded recently. Brice helped me with everything and I was really happy with his service but his manager Ashley came over and got really nasty with him about gamestop points or something and it made me really uncomfortable. All in all it was an ok visit.
