Service dropped dramatically when First National Bank bought OBA. I tend to use the drive-thru because it's supposed to be faster, but lately, you end up sitting in your car with no updates or acknowledgement for 10 to 20 minutes or more.The last time I tried cashing a check I waited in my car for 15 minutes, then went inside to find out what the problem was. "I'm busy with a customer now" was the reason I was given, although the teller never thought to let me know that at any point.Today, it's the same thing: I sent the check to cash through the drive-thru tube and waited. After 5 minutes without hearing anything, I pressed the call button. "I'm busy with a customer", again was the response I got. It would have been nice to know that.Angie is great and helped me with more complex problems. I don't know if she got fed up with FNB's "Customers Last" policy and left, because she's the only one who seems to care about customers.

Big Shout out to Anjani Pachai- Jaigobin (Angie), She is great banker, Great customer oriented approach, If google have option of 10000 star rating she deserves it, She is helping me in HELOC and lots of other financial wellness she have made me aware. Effective and immediate in response and very great in explaining financial terms, in easy and understandable to person with zero finches background.

This bank charges you $37 for every overdraft and then $12 every week until you deposit more money. They don't call or text you to inform you about this.

I had an OBA loan which ended up with this bank. The customer service is horrible. I have had the worse experience. The online service is limited to just the current loan balance. it doesn't show the statements, it doesn't show the payoff balance, it doesn't let you make payments or see any payment history. This is a ridiculous website. It also doesn't have electronic payments. The only options are to send a check on the mail, which could take weeks to arrive, or to go in person to a branch. I also have other issues proving that i have home owner insurance. When you call to try to resolve any issue they give you the run around and the wait for a live person can be up to 45 minutes. To avoid having my blood pressure go up when dealing with customer reps, I had to pay off my loan and close my account. I will not do business with this bank.

Attempted to deposit cash at ATM,machine gave receipt acknowledging deposit. One week later, 5 separate trips to give them what they say they need to process it, and I’m still waiting. Nobody will return my call, I have only spoken to teller at the location, Numerous messages to the branch manager have gone unanswered. Multiple requests through the online banking messages system have also gone unanswered from upper management. THIS WAS A CASH DEPOSIT FROM A CUSTOMER OF 27 years

I dealt with this bank and branch a few times. A gentleman named Pablo was very helpful and fixed an issue I had quickly and followed back to call me to confirm everything was okay. I appreciate his help.

terrible customer service. tried closing my grandmother’s estate and with the lack of internal communication, the request was not received, which caused 7 overdraft charges. insane.Less than 24 hours after my grandmother died, I had to come back in and pay $37. so happy we moved to PNC.

Worst customer service experience and on going wish I could give less than one star! Through this pandemic ... they have not help ! Was trying to help my mother do an IRA ROLLER OVER REQUEST SPOKE TO MANY REPRESENTATIVES.. THROUGH CALL CENTER ORGINALLY WAS ON HOLD FOR 2 HRS AND CHANGE FOR SOMEONE TO TELL ME THE BRANCH WILL CALL ME THE NEXT DAY !. NO ONE CALLED ME I DECIDED TO PUT A REQUEST THROUGH THE OTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AND THEN CALLED THE BRANCH TO PROCESS THE TRANSACTION AND THEY STATED THEY CANT HELP BECAUSE I PUT THE REQUEST THROUGH THE NEW FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.. THE NEW INSTITUTION SENT MANY REQUESTS ON MY BEHALF AND SINCE THE PROCESS HAD NOT BEEN DONE I DECIDED TO CALL THE BRANCH AND EANTED THERE HELP WOTH THE NATTER . THEY STATED MANY TIME THEY CAN NO LONGER HELP ME .. MY IRA CD MATURED AND SINCEI WANT TO STAY HOME AND SAFE .. I end up having to go to the germantown drive though were they stated I had to pay penalties of 250 or more.. and stated the person that answered the phone no longer works there .. I decided to call the branch and the person that picked up was the representative who had assisted us the entire time ... lying Representative then they stated I had to speak to the branch manager and I called gaithersburg and they hung up on me. Then I called again and they placed me on hold for 15 min and no response

I got to say that the Germantown first national bank. has by far the great customer service and I would recommend them to any of my friend who wishes to open an account with them. They also provided me the services that I want. The staff and Amanda are very nice and they help me get the necessary help that I need. Thank you for the help.
