The food is very good but how is it possible that if they say they work until 9:30, the doors are already closed at 8:55pm? Terrible service, either they change the schedule or they do what they promise.

Very bad service, and no management. I ordered a half chicken with 2 sides but when I got home 1/2 of my chicken was missing. I called to ask for a refund of just the missing chicken, which was 2 dollars. They said I had to come back in and bring the food I did get or nothing could be done. So I drove back in, now expecting a full refund plus replacement food but all they would do was replace the food, I was on the hook for the lost time, all the driving, etc. They even hesitated to replace all the food, they wanted me to keep the now cold chicken and sides and only accept the missing chicken? None of it made sense. The cashier even had the audacity to say my food that I brought back was cold because I drove around so much. AFTER making the mistake that caused all the extra driving! Requiring me to come back then wanting me to keep the cold food is OUTRAGEOUS.No manager ever took over. Great food but man this was brutally disappointing. Basically when they mess up it’s on the customer to take the hit. Check every container and every bag if you order from here, otherwise you are on the hook. All I wanted was a $2 refund, or an emailed coupon, a credit, honestly anything except having to pay extra or drive back to the store. Ownership, if you are involved in this store at all I would really take a look.

I bought rice and half chicken and they gave me wrong order. When l return the food a very disrespectful spanish lady who didn't even pick my order argued with me and insulted me. Yea that's ladywith big cheeks and stomach.

I've been meaning to try Don Pollo for some time, and decided to stop by and grab some chicken for lunch. The smell in the area is always amazing, so I had high hopes. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides, and opted for yuca and chaufa rice. They were able to take my order rather quickly, and only a few minutes to wait for my order to be ready, which was a plus. The inside had plenty of seating available, but I did takeout. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of my food but it looked really good. The yuca was pretty good, and the sauces complimented it pretty well. The rice was okay, but not my favorite. It seemed to be lacking flavor, in comparison to what I have had before. I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken. It was juicy, but I prefer it to be cooked a bit more. I have tried various Peruvian chicken spots in the nearby area, and although I was glad to try it, unfortunately, for me Don Pollo isn't my top favorite.

I ordered a ceviche and it was 15mins before their closing time when I got home to eat my ceviche the fish tasted awful as if the fish had been sitting out for too long. By that time it was already 9:30pm and when I tried calling they had closed already. I went the next day to let them know what happened and brought the ceviche so that they can see I didn’t even eat it. I asked if they could reimburse my money or compensate for another plate of equal value and the best the manager was able to offer me was a 10% discount on my next purchase, which who knows if I will ever use because I don’t plan on going back there.
