“The ladies in the front offices are absolutely amazing!! Very knowledgeable of the properties, super friendly, and keep things running smooth! The units are very clean and many have upgrades, the grounds are kept very clean as well. I was ready to move as soon as I pulled in the complex!”
“Unprofessional conduct from staff member on 12/10/2025 at 10:21 AM: I’m writing to address the conduct of the woman who answered the phone at 10:21 AM on 12/10/2025. I called with a simple objective, get access to my online portal so I could pay my rent on time. Instead of assistance, I was met with immediate attitude and condescension.
From the start, she responded with irritation, dismissiveness, and unprovoked sarcasm. She repeatedly mocked my understanding of the portal instructions, made comments about my technical skills, and even laughed while I was explaining what I was seeing on my screen, despite me staying calm and professional throughout the call. Ironically, throughout the interaction, she was the one who seemed unfamiliar with basic computer navigation, which made the condescending attitude even more unnecessary.
For days now, multiple residents have been told the same thing, no one in the office can help, the system is down, and everyone is left to figure it out themselves. Yet the staff continues to treat residents like they’re the problem rather than acknowledging an issue on their end.
When I asked for clarity on when the portal would be functioning again, she responded with more attitude and ultimately told me there was nothing she could do, that I would have to physically bring a money order or check because the issue wasn’t her responsibility. She even said, “Well that’s your fault,” when I described what was on my screen. Completely unacceptable.
Let me be clear, the problem wasn’t the technical issue. Systems break sometimes, that happens. The problem was the complete lack of professionalism and basic respect. If she had simply said, “We’ve been having system issues for the past few days and unfortunately we can’t get anyone into their accounts, please bring a money order or check,” that would have been perfectly fine. Instead, she spent the majority of the call degrading me, talking down to me, and escalating a situation that didn’t need to be stressful.
To be fair, I have spoken with other staff members before who were professional, helpful, and respectful. So maybe I just got a bad draw with this particular employee. There clearly are competent people in that office, but this interaction did not reflect that.
My overall experience with the leasing office has been a 2 out of 10 at best. This review is specifically about the staff member I spoke with at 10:21 AM on 12/10/2025, but it highlights a deeper issue, residents are met with hostility and incompetence when they need help, yet fees and payments are demanded without hesitation.
I’m not writing this to insult anyone’s skills. I’m writing this because what I experienced today was unacceptable. When residents are trying to pay rent on time, the very least we should receive is professionalism, not mockery, not blame, and not attitude.
Interactions like this are exactly why so many people warn others to avoid this property. If this is who’s representing the front office, it says a lot about the priorities here.”
“We’ve noticed is a rise in crime in the area around the Stonecreek apartments in the last two years that has been pretty troubling. A few incidents to name: My partner’s motorcycle was stolen from the Stonecreek parking lot, I witnessed a car break in by a group of four teens in the Stonecreek parking lot while on a walk with my dog and had to run and hide at the Acclaim apartments across the street while the teens searched for me (yes I called the police). I’ve seen him twice (yes I called the police). You also can’t reach the local police via 911, you have the call the non-emergency line. I learned this when I was hiding from the teenagers when I called the non-emergency line to ask where the police were and I was told that there was no such record of my emergency call. Needless to say, I don’t feel safe walking my dog alone around the complex anymore. Furthermore, on Pinnacle Drive—the side that shares the street with the lovely Germantown Center Urban Park—sometimes has a man there who obviously pretends to wash his car and tries to speak to passersby. The inner fun paths of the park are frequently occupied at night by men walking around alone, or hanging out and sitting to smoke. If you’re a single woman, these things may be uncomfortable for you.
Additionally, there is an abundance of shopping carts that wind up on the Stonecreek property. I’ve seen them used by elderly, handicapped, and small kids carrying their groceries home. The community, or maybe even Stonecreek, needs to look into providing an assistance service for this.
That said, StoneCreek is great! We’ve been here 5 years and the only complaints I have are the high amenity charges ($300+ for the pool, gym, package room, and small dog park) and the overabundance of dog poop. Otherwise, the living space this complex provides is EXCELLENT. Noise transfer between apartments is minimal, and the fire department across the street sirens are an acceptable volume when they permeate the windows. Overall, excellent apartment complex providers by the management on the stuff that they can control.”
