I tried to call this daycare to find out the pricing for the reference. After 4 attempts somebody finally pick up the phone, talked to me very short and then said that somebody will call me. Three days after - nobody called. I feel like communication will be a big issue if we will ever enroll there because who has time to call so many times?

We had to enroll our daughter sight unseen from another state, many years ago, and never regretted it. She was at Primrose of Gambrills from diapers all the way up until right before kindergarten a few weeks ago. She came from a Montessori school so I was a bit worried about the learning structure and philosophy, however much to my surprise I think my daughter ended up learning faster and better. They have this “wonder time” that really gets the kids thinking and interested about the world around them which is super cute. Lots of love from all of the the teachers she’s had. The only reason we left was something opened up for us to join a k-8 school. Would have stayed if they offered elementary school. My daughter also co-signs a five star review. Thank you Primrose- we’ll be back for Summer!!

Today holds so many emotions for me as we both celebrate and close a major chapter in our family's journey - saying goodbye to the Primrose School of Gambrills. Although many have moved on (we miss them!), so many good teachers and staff still remain. They have been a true partner in these first eight years of teaching and raising our kids. From the very first day to this last day, they have provided us a peace of mind all parents need from their care giver, and have filled our hearts with love and joy as they tirelessly encouraged, mentored, supported, laughed with, celebrated with, cried with, and taught us. Thank you, Primrose, for being such an important part of our journey and story! We will miss you!For the curious minds: We gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there were some bumps in the road along the way, there are some things we wish the leadership team was more transparent about, and (being "get to yes" type people) there were times when we felt more might have been possible. Bottom line, there is always room for improvement.

I went for an interview here. The interview went great. I went to get my fingerprints the day I could afford to pay it and for some reason there was a mix up. In the process of me trying to fix things Ms. CINDY the schools director called me back after she told me to call and see what was going on. In the midst of me doing so she called to say this won’t be a good fit for you after I already stopped my other job and I have three children to support. I contacted her back and she did NOT SYMPATHIZE AT ALL! If you are looking for a job please trust me don’t waste your time and get let down like me. Horrible and very unprofessional for what she did.

My child's experience here in Pre-K was, without a doubt, leaps and bounds ahead of our oldest child's experience at the local Childcare Development Center. This Primrose hires teachers that invest themselves in the children, teaching them everything from basic math and reading concepts to manners and social skills. The Pre-K program's structured environment has already paid dividends this school year, as my son now fully grasps all of the concepts being taught in Kindergarten.Where Primrose really shines though is helping the children in each classroom to connect with one another. I will never forget my son's last day. When I arrived to pick him up, all of the other children got up, unprompted by the teacher, gave him a big hug, and told them how much they loved him and would miss him. Some other useful information: Primrose is great for military, as it is honored by most military childcare assistance programs.I can't say enough about this particular Primrose location or it's staff.

My son attended as an infant until we moved. The teachers and staff are amazing, kind and thoughtful. If a Primrose school opened where we currently live, I would not hesitate to enroll.

My child has attended this school for a number of years. As Covid hit the owner and school has taken a nosedive. I've been extremely patient with them however, it seems they are only concerned about money. They have changed their hours from 6:30am-6pm to 7am-5pm with the intention and promise of returning only now to say they are short staff and will not return. I have worked with them and I believe I have been extremely patient. Whenever you mention compensation for services they are no longer providing the owner mention she has to pay her staff. Primrose is short staff and lack quality teachers. Teachers appear to be young and uninterested in the development of young children. Owner lacks experience as well. She appears to be making thing up as she goes. In my opinion, to keep mentioning you have to pay your staff is in poor taste and she has no regards for parents and the amount of money being spent. I would pull my child out but because it is mid/end of school year I am letting her finish. I do not plan to do business with them again. Very disappointed.
