“I was in a rush and needed a suit dry cleaned and returned the same day. I’ve never had to do it before so I was lost and everywhere else couldn’t do it in time or offer any advice. I called Dorsey cleaners and Jake explained why it couldn’t get done today and offered a solution. He steam pressed my suit (which wasn’t dirty to begin with) and had it done in no time. “Our washer broke so in the interim of waiting for the new unit to be delivered, we needed to find a clean, reliable and safe location to wash clothes. King was our choice. For starters, the place is very clean which is a necessary plus. Not only were there several options for load sizes, but the rates were reasonable. I loved the fact that the machines have a tap pay option. You can still pay with coins if you'd like, but I prefer contactless. Only downside, some of the machines were coin only or tap only at the time. I suppose they needed servicing. Added plus ... there was an attendant on-site that assisted with swiping the machine when I had issues. They were very helpful.”
“I moved to Rockville, MD but grew up in Crownsville. I drive an hour to have my pants hemmed at Bergman. The work is impeccable. It can be difficult to get pants to fit perfectly, especially when you’re petite and everything is incredibly long on you! My pants are always hemmed perfectly. I’ve also had her sew on patches and alter dresses. I’m always extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend using Bergman for your alterations.”

“First and foremost - ask for Danny. He is compassionate, sweet, understanding, and EXTREMELY helpful. My condo rental had a small fire which riddled our home with nasty smoke smell. I was referred by ServPro to contact this company - definitely the best referral I could have gotten.
The company, itself, does amazing work and they are there to help you through catastrophes - big or small.
Let me tell you a little more about Danny though. This dude.. He like adopted me and my fiancé. I'd invite him to our wedding! He is so knowledgeable in regard to renter's insurance - he had so many awesome suggestions that didn't even deal with his part of the business, and that is true customer service. When you're in a pickle and have no idea where to turn, it is a true blessing to meet someone like Danny.
I have had to text message Danny multiple times (only because I had a question, not because there was anything further needed from their end) and he ALWAYS responds immediately. You can't put a price on that kind of service. He is just the nicest, down-to-earth guy. I hope you get the opportunity to work with him and his team.
Keep in mind, having your things tossed through by strangers is very scary and uncomfortable. Danny and his team came in and they breezed through our textiles. They never once made us feel like we were "gross" or anything of that sort. That is the type of service that we all yearn for. Don't look up any other company - this is the one you want to help you out. (and ask for my boy Danny!)”
“The owners are wonderful! I brought a floor length flared wedding gown here to be hemmed just a day and a half before the wedding and they took care of it with no problems! The work was beautiful, they were caring, and the sweet lady even gave me a candle when I picked up my dress. They are great people and you won’t go wrong supporting their small business.”

I've been in Bowie since 1962, and Hilltop Cleaners has been around for decades, yet the new ownership has completely elevated the experience.
Andre, the new owner, provides a remarkable level of attention. He takes time to walk through each item, explaining what can be done & following up with pricing right away. The shop is clean and organized, and he even has fresh coffee available for you to enjoy.
I brought in a large batch of well-loved stuffed animals for evaluation, and the job to clean and repair these family items wasn’t a simple request. Andre went through everything carefully, laid out the options, and gave a detailed and reasonable estimate. His focus was in ensuring the items received the attention he felt they deserved. I also left both a handmade, delicate Renaissance festival corset top and a multi-layered elaborate skirt for cleaning.
The pickup and checkout process was prompt and efficient. The work was absolutely done with real care - everything was fresh, spotless, and professionally sealed. The stuffed animals are back to their sparkling selves, and the top and skirt are ready for another season of celebration.

“Been going here off and on since 2010, and pretty consistently since our washer at home broke last summer . Gets packed on weekends, but overall great place. Love that the big washers can handle all my family’s laundry in one go most weeks. I think some of the smaller machines need to be replaced because they’ve been down for months, but most of the bigger ones work fine. 30-40 minutes to wash, 40 ish to dry, and I get a couple hours to read a book or listen to a podcast.”

“We took a wool rug in to be cleaned because of a pet stain. The rug was 9x12. It took a little longer than expected, because the person who cleans rugs for them had trouble with the stain. But the rug was spotless when we picked it up, had no chemical smell, and the cost was a little over $200, an excellent price for good work. They have free delivery as well. We will take our other rugs to them in the future. Very courteous, very friendly business.”

“I went here after getting turned away from other cleaners to hem a complicated dress that I needed for a wedding in a week and a half. They did a phenomenal job and I am so pleased with the dress! It had detailed stitching on the ends and had a staggered length (short in the front and got extremely long on the sides). Crofton Station Cleaners was able to replicate the staggered length that was more manageable to walk in without having extra cloth pooled on the ground, replicate the detailed stitching at the ends, and get the dress back to me with plenty of time before the wedding. I’m so glad I brought the dress to them because at other places, it may have been ruined! Thank you so much!!”
