I have faithfully banked with Fulton and their sibling company Columbia Bank for nearly 15 years. I moved from NJ to MD and was working in an area that had many accessible branches in Howard County. I have since moved to AA County and now work in Baltimore City. This bank is no longer very accessible. I was unaware that the bank was operating by appointment only. Last year on a Saturday morning, I visited this branch on the only day I could visit them because I work all their hours. I stopped by to update my name and add my husband to the account. The door was locked but a very kind manager met us at the door. He explained that they are appointment only at the present time and I told him I was trying to update my name and add my spouse to the account. He very graciously welcomed us in and said he was happy to help and he never wants to turn a customer away. Today, my husband was met with a very different attitude. I asked my husband to run an errand to deposit a check into our account. My husband walked to the door to enter the lobby and again it was locked even another year later. He was met by a manager who expressed they were operating by appointment only. My husband said he wanted to make a deposit and wanted to have a teller assist him to make sure he was doing it right. (He banks w/ BOA and they operate very differently) He allowed my husband to go into the bank but not without expressing disdain that he could have done that from the drive thru and that the drive thru has speakers. This experience left a lot to be desired. Especially, in addition to the inaccessibility. I was already wanting to leave and find a new financial institution. I think this just put the icing on the cake for me.

This branch has very friendly service, has a nice waiting area with a Keurig machine, and is always clean and bright. Very nice and convenient location in the shopping center!

Not only do they charge you a $39 overdraft fee, they charge you an additional $6 per day for being overdrawn. Then customer service can't even help you, you have to go down to the branch. What a joke, no wonder they never have any customers!

The absolute worst bank I have ever used. Never opened on time, routinely did not mail bank statements and made online banking a nightmare. I will never recommend this bank to anyone.
