If I could give 0 stars, I would. I brought my mother’s car in to be serviced on Monday, June 2 for an oil change, a possible nail in the front tire and for the center, mid brake light to be fixed. The advisor did not inform me that the technician who could perform the work on the car was not there until hours later when I came to pick my car back up. He scheduled me to bring the car back in on Thursday when the technician was in the office. My mother and I were there for over 3 hours just to be told that the advisor made a mistake in the system and they could not fix my light because they had to order the whole led light. So again my car was not fixed. I called back on Friday to see if they could order the led light and do the service but the technician either quit or was terminated and this location could not help me anymore. I was told by the manager to call around to either the Glen Burnie or Annapolis location to help me. He advised me to explain the situation to those locations and see what could be done. Glen Burnie told me they couldn’t help me and to have the manager from Crofton call over to them to make any special arrangements on the pricing for the inconvenience. I had to call back and forth with the Crofton location and the Corporate office to try and get this issue resolved. Then I was finally informed to bring the car to the Annapolis location. And they would only give me a 10% discount for this bad experience. It is June 17th and my light is still not fixed due to not being called back in a timely manner. Then when I just looked at my brake light, the led light is not in place and the wires are hanging. I have been a member of AAA for over two decades and this is the level of service, quality and care I have been given. It’s so sad.

Despite the big letters this happened.
Thankfully, they made it right.

Where do I begin?
My wife's vehicle has been at this location since September 2024 with very little communication. The old store manager was very rude and argumentative. He didn't know how to speak to customers after they said they fixed the vehicle and then said something else is wrong with it. When asked to speak to his regional manager he hung up on me. Then I had to call another location to get ahold of his district manager for things to start to move along. The district manager listened to the phone call and apologized how his employee handled that phone call and his rudeness. He looked into my wife's car and got back to me about 1-2 weeks later or so, and said that they would fix the issue with a heavy discount. He said he had a mechanic that could do the work and he would contact us when the vehicle was finished. A few months go by with no communication, so I decided to reach out to the location after I couldn't get ahold of the district manager. Come to find out that old store manager was fired for the way he treated the customers, and the district manager passed away about a week or so after I last spoke to him. Mind you this is probably 2-3 months later with no communication about my wife's vehicle until I reached out to them. Then I was told there was no district manager replacement assigned and I would have to wait and one would be in contact with me. 2-3 months later still nothing so I decided to call and see what was going on. The store manager Will said that his boss Melvin would be in contact with me about the next steps. Needless to say this was about 7 months after my vehicle arrived at the AAA crofton location. Now we are being told the vehicle can not be fixed even tho they told me they could previously and for all the money I paid for a vehicle to be used for my wife I was out of and they were not covering the cost. Mr. Todd Davis is the one that reached out and told me his is the final decision maker and that we need to get our vehicle or they would tow it where we needed it. The issue is the vehicle has been there for 8 months with very little communication from then when they say they would call back and for them to tell me they would fix the vehicle with a heavy discount and now that they can't fix the vehicle and we are stuck.
If you were me what would you do?
We are out 5k-6k fir a vehicle for the last 8 months and they say it's our problem for them throwing things underneath the rug.
Be very careful with what you're doing. We use them for insurance also and this is how they treat their customers. Todd Davis said there is no one above him and I know that's inaccurate!!!
If possible I would like someone to give me a call above Todd Davis

I came here after a shop down the street dropped the ball on a state inspection. They confirmed my car should get historical plates which was a huge sigh of relief. The tech manager was great and helped me find a shop that does JDMs in the area.
The reason for the dropped stars is that that same manager was pretty dismissive to my wife when she came in for a state inspection. We had an appt and I waited in my car while she dropped off hers, only to have her message me to come inside. The manager was in fact being rude to her and stating that they don't do inspections on that day (when his colleague was the one who told us to bring it in that same day). He claimed that tech wasn't even there that day...weird experience. We won't be coming back for any vehicle work.

This place is terrible and need to be put out of business.I want to advise those needing their car replaced, avoid this place. This joke of a repair shop misdiagnosed the issue with my vehicle. I took it to the dealership, because AAA stated that the issue was my mass airflow sensor. They supposedly repaired and installed a new mass airflow sensor. However, they installed defected parts. I took it to the dealership and because my check engine light didn't cut off. Come to find out, my vehicle have other issues that AAA didn't detect.

This is the worst repair shop ever. This shop missed inspected my car. They stated that it was one problem. Come to find out, when I took it to the dealership it was another. I recommend. Do not use this repair shop

Drew at AAA came through in a pinch today and and offered some of the friendliest auto service I've had in the Crofton area. Thanks Sir!

I usually do not leave businesses a bad public review, but my experience here at this AAA (Gambrills, MD) was absolutely terrible. I wish I could give zero stars. My visit was a few months ago, I waited until now because recently I took my Volvo to another shop and saw what real service looks like.
A few things I want to highlight…
-I asked for two different services for my car, they literally forgot one of the services. When asked why they didn’t get it done. The response was… “I forgot to write it down”. I let that go.
-They told me the one service on my car would be around $80. After the service I went to pay, it was around $20 more. They said they mixed up what car I had when telling me my price in the beginning. Even though they told me it was their mistake, still wanted me to pay the higher fee.
-They didn’t take care of my car… my front car mat was dirty from their shoes and they moved things in my trunk then DIDN’T put everything back where I had them.
More on my floors, I had to buy a new set of car mats because I couldn’t get their dirty shoe prints out.
To conclude, this was a terrible experience and I will never return. Lessons that I learned from this experience. Take pictures before and after going to a shop and I should have fought for better quality service. I am one that doesn’t like confrontation. They saw that and took advantage of the situation.
Therefore if you are younger (I’m 23) or don’t want to have to go back and forth to be treated right. Do not come to this location. “898 MD-3 S Gambrills, MD 21054 United State”.
I do want to add, I left a private review to this AAA location right after service hoping I could get a refund or something. The manager did call me once, I was unavailable at the time. I called the number back and left a voicemail. Absolutely nothing after that because they don’t care. The manager checked a box when calling then moved on.

Had a flat tire on my Chevy Silverado. Sarah was so helpful and nice and told me bring the wheel and tire down to have a technician take alook. Turned out it was a bad valve stem leaking air. It was replaced in less than 30 minutes. Big time help! Such a convenience this place is located close to my house. I will be going back to get the other valve stems replaced and for other vehicle needs. Thanks again SARAH.

I just moved here from cali
came to this office to get my vehicle licensed and tagged.
They said “might as well transfer your membership too!”
But instead they made me a new membership and now I’m being charged from cali and Maryland.
On the phone with customer support trying to get it fixed.

Incredible service, fantastic people!
I came in for an oil change and the person behind the counter (also Sarah) was so friendly and helpful, I instantly knew I was in good hands.
The facility is wheelchair accessible (including the bathroom) and easy to navigate around. There is a little wait room with a keurig.
I was so impressed that I’m planning to go back to get my tag and title transferred.

Poor costumer service. Poor support.
Vehicle failed inspection due to tire tread being 2/32". MD permits 2/32 as minimum. They wanted to sell tires $1,400 for a set of 4. No thanks. They would not make appointment for re-inspection. They told us to, "just drop by". Got tires elsewhere and dropped by, but they could not see us. Returned a few days later. 2.5 hours for re-inspection (checking tread depth on brand new tires). Charged 1/2 price of inspection for re-inspection. $270 for vehicle inspection. Plus we had to buy a set of tires 6 months sooner then we wanted/needed. I will never go back. Feels like a racket.

There's a white lady with glasses that sits on the right I can't remember her name but every time I've come in for car work I notice how she eyes and mean mugs her co workers of color but than when she talks to her co workers of her color or to other white co workers she's very nice and studious. I can't come for services at a place that doesn't hail people of all nationalities
