“What a gem of a place. Clearly a local spot. Great vibe, great service, great food. Everyone was so nice! The view was spectacular. We sat on the side with the bar and had a view of the bay. The other side for seating offers views of the boat harbor, so there are lots and lots of boats to look at. Dog friendly. Just a really nice spot.”

“CBF is great. Well maintained grounds, beautiful banquet area available to rent, a nice little beach right on the bay, compost toilets, and rain water for hand washing sinks. Updated facilities throughout.”

“We boat on the Chesapeake Bay every weekend April-November. This marina is by far the best we have visited. The pool is amazing, the food at Ketch 22 was great and well priced. Overall this marina is a deal for what they offer. This year was our 10th trip to Herrington Harbour South and we look forward to the next 10!”

“We host our annual fundraising event at the Maritime Museum. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. They go out of their way to ensure our event is successful each year. Beautiful view of the water and reserved parking for guests in lots a block away. This is a wonderful venue in Eastport for hosting any special occasion!”

“We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at the Hornor Maritime Center in April and could not have been more pleased with our experience. The venue was a great space to entertain our nearly 70 guests. Our guests first enjoyed drinks on the deck overlooking Back Creek and then dinner inside. Lynn was an amazing coordinator. She assisted us with the planning (even letting us know that certain decorations were available by Hornor for our use) and coordinated with the vendors. She was responsive to our emails and questions in the months leading up to the event. Lynn was on site early the day of the event assisting with set-up and stayed throughout, ensuring that the evening ran smoothly. We were so pleased with our event here and would definitely use this venue again!”

“We have had our company holiday party at The Golf Club at South River for the 2nd year in a row. The venue is beautiful! It's a lovely rustic but beautiful setting with pretty views out of every window. The communication before the event was amazing. The staff was able to work with us within our budget. We had a fantastic dinner, buffet style and chose from a wide variety of options on their menus. The staff was fantastic and handled the last minute requests from my boss (AV requests for a presentation that wasn't mentioned prior) quickly and without a moment of hesitation. All in all, our staff and their guests had a wonderful time as we enjoyed a very special night out. We are all employees at a 24-hour medical facility so these nights are very few and far between and it was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this beautiful venue!”

“Definitely one of the best, or if not best in terms of atmosphere and service, places to dine in Annapolis! Everything on the menu is great and you cannot beat the view of spa creek with the boats sailing by.”

“Course: I can't say I've played of the original but it's a replica as good as it's going to get in Maryland. You can't replicate conditions (eg Augusta National), treelines, elevation and other details but who cares, it's still a great experience!Course condition: I played in mid-November and the course was in great condition. Greens were lightening fast and I three putted way too many times. Walkable: There are three long ass walks between holes otherwise it's walkable if they allow it. Staff: Fantastic service. Highly recommend to try at least once but if not more.”

“Nice property and professional staff, rooms were clean. Close to many restaurants and shopping options, convenient location off the highway. Two downsides; parking is not great especially if the hotel is busy and the rooms on the backside of the hotel, you WILL hear the highway traffic which can be a disruption to your sleep, other than that it’s a decent hotel.”

“Casual, old-timey bar & grill in a rural setting on the water. Diner quality food was good & plentiful. Staff were efficient and friendly. Fair prices. Plenty of free parking. A unique little antique shop right across the road made the trip even more fun.”

“Today, we dined at Chart House Prime in Annapolis, and the culinary experience was a delight. The food never disappoints, particularly the scallop and shrimp dish, which was impeccably prepared and truly enjoyable. A highlight of the meal was the chef's dessert—a cheesecake with cherries that might just be the best I've tasted in a very long time. However, the service was a letdown during this visit. It was painfully slow, which was unexpected and inconvenient, especially since it was Mother's Day. Even settling the bill became a hassle, and we had to approach the register ourselves after waiting too long for our waitress. Despite the service issues, the quality of the food keeps Chart House on my list of recommended dining spots.”
