They did a very good job with the dry cleaning. I was very satisfied. I don't do a lot of dry cleaning myself so I don't know how the prices compare to other places.

Best tailor I’ve been to! My husband and I get our clothes dry cleaned and tailored here. I’ve never been disappointed. They do an incredible job and are reasonable with the time that it takes to get the work done. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The zipper pull on an expensive down parka I bought from Land's End fell apart. I called a couple of tailors to fix it and got voice mail to leave a message and they would call me back. They didn't. I found a cleaners that is in the same building as the gas station that I normally use. She got very good reviews. The woman answered and said to bring it by so that she could look at it and give me an estimate. No estimate. She got a couple of needle nosed pliers and a box of spare zipper parts and fixed it on the spot. Charged me $10. That's what I would have had to pay for a collection of zipper pulls if I had to fix it myself. Very happy with her competent service and repair. Now I can resume my outdoor walks in freezing weather. She's got a new customer.

Highly recommend this place. I get any alterations and hemming done. Young is always there with a smiling face and meticulous about getting everything right. For the past 10 years, I have never been disappointed in her work. Recently she helped me adapt my Tumi backpack with straps on the back so I can put it on my suitcase.

I have lived in the area for 5 years and struggled to find a decent dry cleaning business. Other places didn’t do a great job with repairs or alterations. And there were those that appeared to make my dress clothes look more worn after they had been cleaned.With that said, I have been extremely pleased with Washingtonian Cleaners. The owner is extremely kind and does great work. I had a couple sport coats that needed repairs and alterations. All of them have turned out great. I find it comforting to go to a place that I can trust, especially when I’m spending as much money as I do on dry cleaning services.

The alternations and cleaning work are excellent. I love the drop off option if they are closed. I drop items off all the time on my way into work.
