They are horrible!! I mailed a certified letter LAST WEEK 3/11 everything went well till it reach this facility. It is now 3/20 yet the current status still said is in transit arriving late. No one knows we're this letter is, no one updated me with A CURRENT status. I am not sure if was delivered to its recipient. They are Horrible. Please use other services FedEx or UPS. I wished I would had mailed my item with another company.

Usps failed to deliver back the restricted certified mail receipt (green card). I walked in to this post office where the package was picked up to try to get any proof of delivery. I explained how important this was for court purposes. However, the older white man working there was just rude and condescending telling me how there is an option to view the signature online. Saying that maybe im having cookie problems and cant see it ,but it's there!... He refused to print any proof of package delivery just because I had a tracking history that I had printed myself. Why make something so simple, so frustrating. ?

Didn’t check mail for a long time, stopped receiving mail when mailbox (a cluster mailbox) got full (my fault, of course). Went to USPS a few weeks ago, was told my mail would resume, three weeks go by, still hadn’t received a single item. Went back with same problem, got same answer, asked for something (anything), in writing in case I still didn’t get any mail, was told “I’m too busy to do that” by supervisor… asked what recourse I had in case I still didn’t get any mail, was told to “leave a note for the courier” in my mailbox. Doesn’t sound like the most reliable way for mail to resume.Oh yes, they didn’t have any of my mail in the three weeks between my visits either. I guess a black hole got the better of it

I have been here four times; the front employees were always polite and prompt. But I noticed they closed the gate at 4:58pm yesterday and declined service after that.

I use this USPS location quite regularly and they're always very nice. Paul especially is great!!Similarly, the Kentlands and the Old Town Gaithersburg locations are great.The Kensington USPS customer service is awful, every time. Really unfriendly, cold, condescending.So I try to go to the Gaithersburg locations when I can! (Esp. the Firstfield road one).

I always have a a great experience from all the workers here! What I will say, without fail, a lot of the customers who come by here tend to be grumpy and treat the workers terribly. It’s like many of you forgot what they had to deal with back in 2020-2021. I understand there are situations that come up that can be frustrating or you’re not getting the answers you’re looking for, but be respectful, that’s all. Thank you to the workers here who help out and work day after day. I appreciate your help!

The postman delivers to the Gateway Apartments at 869 Clopper Rd, he steals mail when it's packages. I could verify it, the postman marked a package as delivered, immediately. I checked the mailbox and there was nothing. It was the same postman who stole the package!

I’d give Katie more than 5 stars. She’s the best and one of the most compassionate people I met. Her professionalism and human relations are exemplary. I am so happy that she helps me with my unique case and will be expecting for my US passport to arrive in 4-6 weeks. If I were the post office head, I’d give Katie the best employee of the year award. We need more of her in every post office here in Montgomery county.

First of all, even though this is the post office of record for 20878, if you have a package or mail held here they tell you that “this is NOT your post office”. Apparently they have other “secret” locations they won’t tell you about but your mail is there so if a package is held because you were on vacation don’t waste your time coming here to pick it up. It won’t be here. Unfortunately you will get a lot of “attitude” from some of the employees before you find someone that will explain this all to you in a manner that makes sense.

Had 2 packages delivered that were open this was a week apart also a letter/card was opened at the top then was taped shut after they looked at it. They are definitely looking to take your stuff. People need to be fired this is a terrible post office!!!
