These guys are shady bad people, I put more gas in the truck then when I picked it up. They charged me to fill up on gas when I dropped off the trick, even though I dropped it off with more gas than when I picked it up. I called to dispute the charge. They said since I don’t have a picture of the tank, they were gonna charge me. Stay away from them.

This particular U-Haul location is horrible. I have had to rent from here on more than one occasion and there seems to be a new problem every time. This summer, they charged me to refill the tank when I had the receipts to show that I filled up the tank. They also charged me for pads when I never requested them (and they weren't in the truck). They have said I went over my rental time when that wasn't the case. They hesitantly agreed to reimburse me but it took over a week for it to show on my credit card. And the latest problem is that I reserved a truck for a school function, but I got sick and contacted them to transfer the reservation. They told me to give the new person's name and phone number and said they just had to show up with their license and their credit card, but they ended up charging me. Someone needs to get control over this location because there shouldn't be this many issues with one store.

I recently returned a UHaul to this place in a spotless condition with extra gas than we got when we picked up the vehicle. However we only folded some of the blankets. This location charged us $25 - after the $700 we had already paid! In the decades I’ve rented UHauls this is the first time I’ve been charged. When I called to get an explanation and a refund, they only gave part of it back. I never heard back from the manager but I would say he or she is terrible at customer service and just trying to charge you for anything they can.

For one, the place was understaffed. I received my truck and the gas was indicated as 3/8ths. But it was definitely 1/4. In a 26ft truck. That’s about $20 I had to pay for.Two, the website clearly indicates the furniture mats come 12 in a bag. When I got there, there was six in the bag I asked why, and the rep could not give me any answer. Or actually, did not want to. Everyone acted like I was bothering them by asking questions.Three, the bags were definitely short on mats. I think three total were missing.Four, I ordered four bags of 12. And was charged that but only received four bags of six.Five, no one told me where my truck was. I had to walk around the whole lot until someone from the business behind. It told me how do I identify my truck.Six, I received notification that my whole order was ready, but it definitely was not. And it still took almost an hour to check out.Seven, there was damage all over my truck. So I took a video of the truck just to make sure I wouldn’t be charged for anything. But, no one did a walk-through with me.Overall, I was overcharged, service was extremely lacking, the employees that were there obviously did not want to be there, no one was helpful, and I just wanted to get out and be on with my day.I will never do business with this location again. I’ve never seen anybody be treated this way.

I had the most terrible experience, i picked up an auto transport trailer for 24 hours, i drive it home ready for next day. When i picked it up, one of the trailer fenders over the tires was heavily bent. I ask the representative regarding the damage, they said do not worry, its marked damaged you will be ok. I took trailer 1.5h away, just to load my vehicle, and when dropped the the fender so i can load the car, the fender was bent in such a way it carved into the tire 1" the wires were coming of the tire. I unloaded my vehicle and I risked driving back to the location. Said will speak to manager and issue refund, but never did. I wasted my time, resources and i could have been in terrible accident, not to mention never towed my vehicle. Terrible service and dangerous equipmnet, could have at least refunded the cost.

I had called them early in the morning for a some information about my reservation. I was placed on a brief hold, and when the lady picked up before, I could even speak, she had already hung up on me. I proceed to call back, but then she does the exact same thing. The second time the third time I called back she finally answers me and makes me go through this whole rigmarole before I could get my answer. Finally, I tried to address the situation and why I was upset that she hung up on me twice, she then blatantly ignores me and pretends that I am not asking that question. This is the rudest and least professional person I have ever spoken to on the phone. I requested a manager and she hung up. I called back and requested a manager and she proceeded to hang up again.

Easy to drop off trucks, signs are clearly marked with where to park them and the staff are attentive and helpful. Only negative is the turn in off the street is a little tight and steep, but that's just a product of the location and not hard to deal with unless they are super busy.

Pickup truck in rough shape. Unmarked damage outside and inside. Tire pressure low on pickup, had to readd air twice during rental. Strong cigarette smell. Initial gas gauge did not reflect actual gas gauge. No complaints regarding the interactions with the people that work there but they should make sure the vehicles are in good shape for every customer.

I would not recommend this place at all. Horrible customer service. Definitely pick some other place to rent anything. Can't stress enough about how horrible this place is.

I had set a hitch installation appointment 2 weeks prior to the set date. They called me the day before to confirm my appointment for a different date without previously notifying me of any changes to my appt. When I ask why I wasnt notified, I'm not kidding, the representative of this location said "I don't know man, the manager can just block out dates" and when I asked if I could reschedule, they didnt seem interested in helping. When I called customer service in regards to helping me, the information they used to confirm my information was incorrect. I dont understand how I give them my information when I set the appointment and they still get it wrong.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a trailer hitch from the Gaithersburg, MD location and they were going to call me when it arrived. After 7-10 days, I called several times to check and each time was promised they would call back, but they never did. I called again and this time found out they'd ordered the wrong part. I will never do business with them again.

Absolutely the WORST experience i have ever encountered. After my move I was charged over $500 to my credit card. When i called for an itemized receipt the cashier was unable to provide one to explain all of the charges. They are extremely unprofessional, the female cashier is very rude. If you do not want to be mistreated and robbed of your money DO NOT go here.

I've had the worst experience with this hitch installation. I arrived at this location around noon and was told my car would be ready in about 4 hours or so. 7 hours later, they were still working on it. I was then told that the technician couldn't figure it out and they had to bring in someone else who was off that day. When it was all done, I noticed that the side bumper was broken and the tech had forced it back on.The manager on site told me they would credit $89 back on my card and once I had it repaired by my dealership, they would reimbursed the rest. What I didn't know at the time was that the technician also messed up the back up sensor in the bumper. I have tried several times to call the store back and have been put on hold forever. I haven't been reimbursed.Finally, when I went to use the hitch for the first time this past week, the wiring wouldn't work. I have decided to take the car to another U-haul location. Hopefully, this time is not a nightmare.

This place is HORRIBLE!!! The manager there has an awful attitude! AND the pricing is ridiculous! You go over ur grace period, they charge u $40...THEN when u do pay it after that, they charge u $15 on top of the $40!!! This week we will be moving our stuff out and going to Public Storage where it's SO much cheaper!!! Why I didn't look at the ratings of this place, idk but I should have! They are making a ton of money...at everyone's expense!!! HORRIBLE PLACE!!!
