“Winkler provides EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL, HONEST service! It was the ONLY place that ACCURATELY diagnosed and fixed the issues causing my check-engine light to be on and my car to flunk DC inspection. Three other highly rated shops charged me diagnostic fees; one claimed to have fixed the problem (it had not) and the others gave me long lists of supposedly “urgent” repairs that would have cost megabucks and, as it turns out, would NOT have addressed any of the actual problems. Luckily, I called Winkler. Jeff, Winkler’s manager, was incredibly professional, patient and helpful. He immediately questioned the pricey fixes the other shops had pushed and assured me Winkler would get to the bottom of and repair whatever was going on. And it did! As promised, Jeff and his team thoroughly inspected my 2008 Honda Element, found the real culprits (missed by every other shop), repaired everything for a very reasonable price and kept in touch with me every step of the way (so there were no surprise costs at all). The result? My car sailed through inspection and runs better than it has in years. The bottom line: Winkler is the ONLY place that took the time to truly solve the problem, and it did so with integrity, expertise and fairness. I HIGHLY recommend It for outstanding quality, honesty, fair pricing, and professionalism. Winkler is the only place I’ll take my cars from now on!”

“I took my car to get MD inspected over here. I had a great experience taking my car here because even though my inspection failed, the manager explained to me why it failed because of the tint. The tint specification allowed in MD is 29% and mine was 30%. They charge me $50 to remove the tints and passed me for the inspection the same day. This was so convenient and the staff was so helpful! I just moved here and I am going to continue coming back to this station for my other needs!”
“They have done a amazing job on my wife vehicle. They are very honest , and straight forward. They work on any or every issue, not just on transmission. After 5 years going to same mechanic, Trans Tech became my go to shop, the FACT they have the skills and knowledge.
I took my wife vehicle expression I needed to replace transmission. Ron, very nice guy, said my transmission was not the issue. Squirrels chewed my battery cable among others wires, was able to trace and repaired. Also found out there was sugar in my fuel pump injector. They were able to clean it up and replaced. Now the vehicle runs better and smoother than had been for 2 years.”
