I had an amazing experience with Tile Center from start to finish and beyond! I needed to reinstall tile flooring in various places throughout my house as the original flooring was faulty. Frank provided exceptional customer service by explaining the company’s value proposition, cost estimate, and timeframe of my project. All of which never changed throughout the process which gave me so much peace. Dennis, the contractor, was fast, efficient, and extremely detail oriented. My floors are perfect and I’m in love with my home again!
Additionally, because of the old damaged floors, I had some water stains in my ceiling that were unsightly. Frank assisted me here as well by setting me up with his painter, Sam, who was also very professional and thorough.
I highly recommend this company!

Very informative seminar. The presenters were very knowledgeable on the subject of bathroom and kitchen remodeling. There were a lot of questions from the attendees and the presenters took the time and the patience to answer all the questions. Excellent seminar.

Our relationship with the Tile Center began when we received an invitation to a seminar - an invitation to learn about the process of remodeling a bathroom and to explore available products. That was a wonderful beginning where we felt like we could begin to discuss and understand what was involved to make our dream bathroom come true. We learned and gathered information over the next several months while we considered what we really wanted to do - then ultimately signed a contract under the guidance of Frank Merrikh, our personal project manager who walked with us through every step - from seminar hosting to finished project! That continuity is incredible - having one person who knows our project as well, if not better than we do! What a blessing, a true gift he has been. Once all the materials arrived and the actual work began Frank coordinated each specialized contractor service, communicated directly with us who was coming and when to expect them. His communication was exemplary, especially when there needed to be time for drying, setting, or other considerations. At the outset Frank told us to plan on 6 weeks for construction and the project took all of that time. Even though there were a few tiny items that still needed to be completed, Frank never lost contact or let us feel like our job had stalled. We are incredibly pleased with the quality of work, quality and beauty of the products we selected, and overall lovely feel of our ADA bathroom. Having used it now during recovery from surgery I can attest that the way we blended in the practical but necessary safety features has been a real blessing. I highly recommend the Tile Center with their amazing team of professional craftsmen!

Tile Center did a wonderful job of a total renovation of our master bathroom. Previously, it was a dressing room and a small room with a bathtub and toilet. They redesigned the space, removed a wall and the bathtub and replaced it with a double sink vanity and wonderful walk in shower that we love.
Marivic and Zia, the architect and project manager, could not have been more attentive and nicer. There were some set backs due to the rules and permits we had to navigate with our condominium and County, but they managed everything professionally at all times. We highly recommend them!

After reading a number of reviews we went to the Tile Center for a full remodel of our 22-year-old kitchen. Zia, Marivic and Dorsa were always very attentive and professional, and worked hard to make sure we got the kitchen we wanted without blowing up our budget. They sat down with us on several occasions to work through our ideas and helped us find the combination of cabinets, countertop, tile and sink that all worked well together. We did run into some hurdles along the way though, with several damaged and mis-sized cabinets that came from the MFR, along with some retouching, which added several months to the project.
But in the end the kitchen turned out great!

I attended a seminar on bathroom and kitchen improvements and was very impressed with the level of knowledge and experience they had and shared. A well attended and informative event and what a beautiful showroom, with so many great options. The entire staff was warm, knowledgeable and attentive!

We wanted to upgrade the painted concrete floor of our sunroom (see "before" photo, below left) with tile, and found Tile Center through Consumer's Checkbook. They lived up fully to their positive reviews.
We worked with Marivic to select the materials. We were impressed with the knowledge and care that Marivic and all of the Tile Center staff brought to the project, and the selection of tiles they could offer. They took the time to carefully measure and assess the existing surface before finalizing our contract. Italian tile was installed over Ditra XL underlayment uncoupling membrane. It looks and feels wonderful and should last a lifetime; in any case, they stand behind their work should a problem ever arise. We highly recommend Tile Center.

I highly recommend Tile Center in Gaithersburg. I drove from DC up to the showroom and was greeted warmly by manager Frank and another designer. I say "another" because if Frank is not a trained designer, he could be. Because I asked point blank for advice, he prevented me from making a mistake, both color-wise and in the size of my tile, for my townhouse kitchen backsplash. He steered me toward a shiny, cream-colored, large "picket"-shaped tile, as in "picket fence," and drummed up some fantastic rust-colored grout with glass mixed in so as to achieve even more light in my oak cabinet with black granite countertops kitchen. The installers, Tomas and Oscar, were highly skilled and pleasant. Tomas has been with the Tile Center for 24 years. Between the great design advice and the highly experienced installers, you cannot go wrong.

We had a wonderful experience with the Tile Center replacing our kitchen floors. My husband and I moved last year and the vinyl floors were in bad shape. We chose the Tile Center because of their outstanding work on my parent's house with multiple large projects over the past 15 years. From the beginning, Zia was helpful and patient as we selected a tile from the showroom. There are many beautiful options to choose from! Zia also came to our home to look at the kitchen floors and give his expert opinion on future projects we're considering for the kitchen and primary bathroom. They were accommodating to our schedule for the start date and the project took less than a week. Tomas and Oscar did a fantastic job with the demolition of the existing flooring and installation of the new tiles. They also fixed all the squeaks in the sub floor. The Tile Center worked with our budget and gave great care to our smaller project, as a full kitchen remodel was not in the works right now. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen floors and will definitely use the Tile Center again when we're ready for our next project!

I recently had a small shower replaced because of a leak. I chose Tile Center based on Next Door reviews and have never had such a positive experience with a business. They were top notch from start to finish. The workmanship was superb, as well as the communication and reliability. Frank ( who oversaw the project from start to finish) monitored the daily progress with updates and pictures. Everything went smoothly even when there were unexpected issues. They were discussed and resolved promptly.They are not inexpensive, although competitive. This caused me some concerns, but I know I made the right decision.If I ever need any home improvements I will certainly use Tile Center again. I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience.Superb customer service. Thank you, Frank and team , for a job well done.

The Tile Center recently completed transforming my first level 1/2 bath into a beautiful full bath with a walk in shower. The planning, budget and design process went extremely well working with Zia and Marivic. Arlen, Tamas, Oscar and Naomi made up the installation team. Each one of them worked diligently and with great skill. I am so impressed with the quality of their workmanship! The Tile center has now renovated the kitchen and all three bathrooms in our home. I look forward to the next project!

I had some water damage in one of my bedroom and decided to replace the carpet with wood flooring. Mr. Joe Rasul from Tile Center did a great job helping me picking out flooring since I have no experience wood floor. The new floor came out great!! A++!

Our experience working with Tile Center and Aladdin Carpet and Floors to remodel two bathrooms was outstanding. Nader listened to us and put together a proposal that met our needs and budget, and followed-up regularly to ensure everything was going as planned. Tamas, Justin, and Sam were professional and friendly, and offered helpful suggestions throughout the process. Both jobs -- from planning to demolition to clean-up -- went smoothly and we're thrilled with the results!

I have been working with Aladdin Carpet and The Tile Center both professionally and personally for the past 20 years and they always amaze me with their top-notch professionalism, design, cleanliness and always going extra step to make sure you are a satisfied customer.They remodeled my entire home in DC without any issues. It was easy working with them and as we speak, they are working on another project I have from the ground up!After the project, Parmiss Akbari, Photographer and Showroom Coordinator came by and took photos of my home. Her photography is amazing, and I definitely plan on using her in the near future for several projects.
