They gave the customer a lie about having to install parts provided by their distributors. They said they could not do to insurance requirements, which is a lie. Electricians, plumbers, and HVAC techs never have problems installing people's equipment and providing labor. They just wanted to charge the customer $400 for the $100 part. Go elsewhere.

John from Star Appliance is a great appliance repairman. I have used Star Appliance for probably about 10 years and various appliances, washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher. All work is completed professionally and at a reasonable cost . John is very neat and methodical, plus completed all of my jobs on initial visit, usually within an hour or so.I definitely recommend him and Star Appliance!

I scheduled an appointment on 10/14 to have my dryer serviced on 10/16 the time given was 10-12. I took off today to get things done around the house. At 12:05 I contacted Star Appliance Repair because no one showed up. They had an emergency and wanted to reschedule. My issue is I had to reach out to the company to verify if they were running late. That’s not good customer service and I’ve missed a day of work and have to find someone else who can come out today.

Not an emergency but wanted to get ahead of a dryer breakdown. Called in the AM and a technician arrived within an hour (happened to be in the area). He diagnosed, presented and explained the issue. Found the required parts locally and came back a couple of hours later to complete the repair. Also cleaned up the mechanical area of the dryer that was covered in belt rubber as part of the repair. Showed me the finished product and put it all back together. Terrific experience… and Highly Recommended!Service: Dryer repair

Star Appliance did a great job! Dishwasher was broken, and Star diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, and fixed it in a timely manner. Excellent service and very reasonable prices, too--recommended!

Woke up to refrigerator not working. Called and spoke to John at 8:30. He arrived by noon and quickly diagnosed the problem. Was able to get the part and repair it that same afternoon. Great service and a fair price. I highly recommend this business.

My Refrigerator broke down and was heating up. I called at 4:45pm and spoke to John. He was leaving for home but came right over. It turned out the relay was bad. John had the part in his van and completed the repair in less then 30 minutes. He is professional with fair prices. I highly recommend using Star Appliance Repair.Service: Refrigerator repair

John was fantastic. He came out the same day I called, diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part, came back three days later, fixed the fridge in less than ten minutes. Very professional and efficient. Would definitely recommend!
