This company does not deserve any stars. I was invited to be on a phone interview with Rosalind R***** from Human Resources. She changed the time of interview to a later time that day and then never called me. I received a call on my phone a few hours later from an unrecognizable number from South Carolina not Florida or even saying Sodexo or this woman's name. I called back and it was Ms. R***** phone number apparently. She sent me an email but would not answer my call. The phone said \

Sodexo provides for millions of students, but does not take animal welfare concerns seriously. This is morally dubious and inappropriate, given the preferences and opinion of so many of the students and universities they serve.

You are failing on animal welfare and corporate transparency. It’s time to help animals and eventually soo their exploration. You agreed a long time ago and have fallen short! You can do better

You are failing your customers and the animals on which you rely by not following through on a greater commitment to animals. Many are moving away from corporations such as yours which do not consider the welfare of animals. It's time to change. It's time to realize that animals deserve better. Sodexo needs to do better for the countless animals who continue to suffer.

Sodexo could clearly do much better for the welfare of the millions of animals for whom it causes suffering. Their food at my university is also not very good.

I have just read the Humane League's Foodservice Provider Guide, and am disappointed to see that such a large and well-established company as Sodexo is not performing as well as it should be with its animal welfare policies and progress thereof. It is public reporting its cage-free policies for the hens in its supply chain, but not its crate-free policy for the pigs in its supply chain, nor for its honoring the Better Chicken Commitment. It should ideally be reporting all three, and it should be 100% cage-free and crate free. This is such an important measure of a company's respectability for me that I can only give Sodexo one star, although in most situations, I like to take the big picture into account. Come on, Sodexo, you can do better! Reach higher!

Sodexo promised to do better by the animals living in their supply chains and then backed out and refuses to address it. Hens under their watch can't even spread their wings or take a breath of fresh air. That's a horrendous way to live your entire life. When you area allowing a living being to suffer so horribly you are letting down not only them but the humans that care about them. No one deserves to suffer and Sodexo has the means to do better and won't. It's time to hold them accountable.

Sodexo lies to the public...they treat their animals inhumane, unethical and beyond the horrors of factory farms. Sodexo's supply chain continues to have animals that suffer in extremely horrible conditions. When are they going to actually going to start treating animals humanely, and show we the consumers that they are willing to start treating their animals in an ethical, safe, cage-free and humane manner???!!!

Dear Sodexo,I can't seem to stop thinking about what I saw in the report about caterers, which featured Sodexo as having serious animal welfare issues. Have you seen it? I'm thankful it was featured on Facebook. I wouldn't have known about these issues otherwise. Now that I found out about these issues in Sodexo, I hope your clients find out that you've got some changes to make.Thank you,

Sodexo in the past committed to end caging of laying hens, but hasn't delivered it. They scraped their plans to improve animal welfare and public should know it. Imagine you were kept in a cage where you can't even stretch, these are conditions what these hens are experiencing. They are not able to follow their natural behaviour and this is sad that this is still happening in 2022

Sodexo needs to do better and raise the bar when it comes to enacting their animal welfare policies; too many animals are suffering in their supply-chain. More transparency and accountability are needed.

Sodexo needs to only do business with suppliers that are cage free and treat their animals well. Factory farming should be illegal; animals deserve to be outside and also protected against the elements.

Unfortunately, Sodexo lacks corporate accountability for its animal welfare issues - with continued support of abuse despite promises otherwise, combined with an absence of transparency towards its consumers, I cannot recommend this company until they put compassion and commitment over profits.

Sodexo has gone back on commitments to improve the welfare of chickens and pigs in their supply chain. This cannot continue to be supported. End unnecessary suffering and commit to going cage free.
