Im not a fan of the membership stores .. but Sams club gets 3.5... At least I don't need to use a membership for the food court now... their brownie sundae is my fave ! As for my big back cravings : their berry sundaes, churros, hot dogs yum... pizza is ok.. but their cheese hurts my tummy... During the week, it's decent. They are skimpy on samples. However, their sushi's are excellent, one of the mean reasons why I come here. Their pot pies are good. They have nice UMD merch, especially this time of the year. Checking out is a pain. I mentioned before in other reviews, I'm not a fan of self checkout. Regular checkout is a pain, usually one or two cashiers . Then it's to get out, another headache. However, I will pick Sams club over Costco. Parking is really no issue. Just avoid weekends!

My biggest issue with Sam's is the checkout process lol and then the front door trying to get out. Other than that I love Sam's. Good deals, they always give out treats and there's lots of space. There is something for everyone in here just watch your total because that stuff adds up quick! Just go during the off hours of the day because early morning is hell Also, make sure you grab a slice of their famous pizza on the way out! Such a boost after using all your energy to shop. Lol

If i can put a 0 star review I would worst customer service no communication whatsoever we went to get our tires placed today we had our appointment at 1pm and got there 30 minutes as advised we asked how long was the car going to be serviced they said approximately 1hr and 30 minutes the car was not ready until 4:30pm we asked why was it that long to do the tire work all the staff "Ernest" had to say was I don't know I don't know so i asked to speak with someone that did know! So he recommended me to talk to joe witch is the manager at the time! So Joe also was no help at all also repeatedly said I don't know not once apologized for our wasted time!

Sam's club has a lot in their inventory especially their snack aisles. Snacks on snacks and for days! Clean and the lines aren't always long. They go by quick. The cashiers are quick and efficient which is always a plus.

This is a great membership store that provides convenient shopping with a great tech aspect of the scan and go. No more waiting in long lines, you can easily scan the food as you go and lay pay for it without having to wait in check out lines. The store is clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a full fledged pharmacy where you can get your prescriptions as well as vaccines/shots! My most recent visit was a vaccine trip and a quick pickup of dinner. Highly recommend to check it out, especially if you are feeding a larger group of people.

Completely unprofessional, don't bother calling in for service/help you just hear hold music or ringing. Called in to 800 number and was told in store member priority.... this is after over 40+ minute on hold with no result. I will be cancelling and going to competitor. It's worth the extra cost for better service and selections.

I can't figure out how to delete or edit my previous negative review, so this is an update. Sam's has lame customer service, but I found a workaround: if you can get to the form where you send them an email (rather than "chat" or phone), then you're actually leaving a written record that someone may actually care about. This is my earlier comment (and by waiting and leaving an email, I got full satisfaction but it shouldn't have been such an ordeal). LET ME EMPHASIZE THEY NOW GAVE ME THE $77.25 GIFT CARD I DESERVED.) "I am a renewed member after a 5-year gap and I'm simply disgusted by their lack of response to a simple stock issue. "The Gaithersburg, MD, Sam's lists a product (a 20-pack case of mock crab) as being out of stock FOR A MONTH! "Every store within 25 miles around it has it in stock but I want to go to Gaithersburg because it's the most convenient for me and I'm only in a hurry now AFTER A MONTH because I have a $45 gift card that I need to pick up in the store and it will expire in early June. "The store phone itself won't pick up after several days of trying and even the online help chat thing is unresponsive. "All they would need to do is give me a #$%#$^^& email address and I could explain the problem and they could PROBABLY TAKE CARE OF IT -- but there is no such address." COMPANIES NEED TO HAVE EMAIL ADDRESSES TO REACH THEM -- THEN THE CSR'S CAN SCREEN THE COMMENTS AND PASS THE MERITORIOUS ONES TO THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES. One a bright note, their imitation crab is VERY good and edible/enjoyable straight out of the sealed pouch!

While the store is great, the checkout process is terrible. Extremely slow and long lines whether you try to do self checkout or go to a cashier. The other bad part is the food court, which is extremely slow and doesn't have many options in stock like other Sam's Clubs. For the store itself, parking is limited but available. It's really easy to go in and find what you need. They do have some small food samples out for you throughout the store. The store is fully stocked with most things you would need, both food as well as other products.

Parking lot isn't the best but it beats having to dodge traffic while getting your cart to the garage like at the other whole sale club nearby. I love love love the fact that the aisles are wide and the mobile check out for the most part works. You can get in and out quickly. Oh and they now have ordering kiosk at the food court so you won't have to stand in long lines.

So basically I called the optometrist to make an appointment and had a hard time understanding what the man on the other line was saying. So we both misunderstood what the other was saying. But I remained polite and still tried to make the appointment. ( he had a bad tone/ attitude the entire time) Then the guy thought he hung up and I could still hear him and he exclaimed " what was that girl even trying to say, it didn't make any sense" and then I hung up. But talking shit on people who are just seeking care is just ridiculous. Also one time had a lady worker ask me bluntly "do you even have a membership" and then forced me to show her before letting me in. I've never been questioned before and found it to be quite rude. This place sucks.

Ive always liked this Sam's, never had a bad experience, I love that they have the scan and go app and the prices are great for bulk items. The pharmacy staff is nice too.

Items were left out of my online pickup order. Called customer service who said I needed to call the actual store who said I needed to come into the store for the refund and when I did they tried to give me only half of what I was charged. Very frustrating.

Terrance @ tire center is extremely helpful. They have huge selection of tires and they have good rebate specials and the Sams Club warranty is good. The food court area is small and the food is ok. They have self check out lines

Review for the Tire Department ONLY: The so called supervisor there is a hot mess. Gives wrong information , always seems confused, and all around terrible customer service by him alone. The two times I went there, I was given wrong info by him. The other people there were far more knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Don't know how or why this particular guy is the supervisor when it's clear he has no people skills whatsoever?? Terrible! Smh.

I hated this place the first time I went. It's way too crowded and the meats are nowhere near as good as Costco. But the pay by app changed all that for me. No more waiting in line for the 5 items I like to get. Grab them and walk out. The employees are super nice...but I'm not sure why the employees in the isles and in the meat department are so much nicer than the checkout and door employees. Don't you want the nice people interacting with customers more? The door people don't give a f and the cashiers seem to be pissed off all day. I seriously stood there for 10 straight minutes while two cashiers fought over a line, yea they were fighting over which line they were ringing items at, and the lines were directly next to eachother. And it wasn't a minor argument, it was a mother effing biach type argument and my 5 year old son was sitting right there in the cart. I know we look white but we're half Salvadoran and understood every word. So happy I never have to go through the line again or my "premium" membership would have been a total waste.
