I had a terrible experience shopping here. They attach price tags to clothes using a stapler. I came to buy pants with an elastic waist band and as soon as I tried them on, the staples with the tags pop off. Although I made sure to keep the tag with the pants, the cashier, Lillian who claims she's the manager, tried to say that it wasn't the right tag and that I should pay $14.99 (a random amount because one pair was $9.99 and the other was half off, which would be $5). I told her I made sure that these were the correct tags, offered to show her where I got the pants, as they were all similarly priced, but she refused to look. I felt like I was being discriminated against and accused of trying to price switch, which is stealing. My family has donated to this store since my childhood, for over 30 years, but after this negative experience we won't be anymore.

They close early, although the hours online say they're open until 7pm. I got there at 4:40pm and they left early. I am trying to call today to see if they are, in fact, open but no one is picking up the phone.

Easy drop off and I think I just made my last one here, ever. I brought 2 of great grandmother’s antique table chairs which were not an exact match to each other but the same size and in excellent for their age and was turned away, very ungraciously and rudely by a young man I’ve never seen work here before who could use tips on manners and communication skills. I don’t mind the policy. I mind the attitude which is unnecessary. I have options where I donate and will go elsewhere moving forward. This Salvation Army has received 20 years donations from me and that’s more than enough.

Tried to donate an upholstered chair, they turned me away. They said it has to be a pair . Not the first time either. They’ve become quite picky. So much for a “Christian based” organization. All my items go to Good Will from now on.

Well organized and clean thrift store near Gaithesburg/Germantown. Mostly clothing items. Prices are a bit high for some items but reasonable for most others. Plenty of parking spaces available. Donation drop-off is in the back of the building (different car entrance from the thrift store road entrance).

Only looked at home goods for picture frames and there were so many broken things for sale at ridiculously high prices. In fact most of their prices match brand new prices in Target. Lowest picture frame I could find was $3.99 and it wasn’t even glass and was scuffed up. I remember when going thrift shopping would be a fun scavenger hunt but here I feel too poor to even shop.

I was just minding my own business checking out on wednesday and the cashier Claire was being super jittery and awkward and seemed on edge about something and veryyy impatient. She then talked to me very condescending like when telling me how to use the payment terminal as if it was some alien technology from another planet or like I was a toddler. She then says out of nowhere unprovoked: "it gets better" I was very confused by this because I was as just minding my own business trying to pay and she seemed like she wanted to be correct about something to have a psychological advantage on a stranger? Idk something like that. Was just Self projection of their insecurity and its frankly annoying when you're just trying to buy something.(I wasn't even sad or anything I was just had a unpleasant face because of her awkward and impatient demeanor as anybody would.)It was very offputting because when I usually check out at thrift stores the transaction is smooth and easy and the cashier is at least respectful (and minds their own damn business) . Not this cashier and I know they dont get paid enough to play egomaniac self righteous therapist with customers.I know most of the time people have good intentions with this type of thing. The way she said it was very self concerned and individualistic. Also it did get better,When I walked out of the door and left their presence.

This thrift store has amazing deals and clothes. You will be spending hours here because there are so many clothes. The main downsides are there are only four fitting rooms, not enough cashiers, sometimes it’s hard to find a cart, and clothes are scattered on the floor. Other than that this is the place to go!
