This church is a very good church I was born into the church and dedicated as a child. But now I am one of their youth students yesterday we had an event called youth day which was an emotional and great experience the Holy Spirit was making people filled welcome and they even cried

I just moved to the area after being stationed in DC, I was extremely let down after going to Church Redeemer. The members are I'll-mannered and the atmosphere seems unsettling. I also don't know where and when pastors became celebrities, communities I've been a part of before don't hold congregation members in the pews until the pastor walks by, that's not in my opinion how the leader of a community conducts himself. In my opinion this is a last choice, I would recommend finding a smaller and more genuine church if you can.

When I was living in my car for a period during 2002, I attempted to park in the lot at night seeking a safe, quiet place to sleep. Was promptly ejected by security, and this memory sticks with me today and for all time. It's just a business like any other.

This is a special church. Pastor Dale's messages are relevant and heartening. I've attended a Easter service and I applaud the actors and actresses.

The Senior Pastor of Church of the Redeemer (COR), Dale O'Shields, is a practical teacher of the Word, and also in his delivery of the Word that makes sense to seeking hearts. He truly cares about you and your eternal resting place. COR is truly a (Church) hospital for the sick. I know, I am still being made whole and wholly in my relationship with Jesus and others.

I really loved this church. Everyone makes you feel incredibly welcomed during the Spanish session. My aunt and I visited last year, and ended up spending at least an hour afterwards chatting with everyone that welcomed us after learning that we were new. Had so much fun. Unfortunately after getting rid of my car, I had to find a church that was metro accessible. But I highly recommend this church to anyone whose interested.

This is my home church. I have been coming here for years. Pastor Dale's sermons are always spot on. His teachings are very practical and based on God's word. I look forward to coming to church every weekend. I've also enjoyed Wednesday night service. I love that COR does a lot for the community here in the states and around the world. I've volunteered through out the years in various events and I also served in the children's ministries Rkids for about a year and loved it. This past weekend we went to see the Easter presentation which is always nicely done and we all really enjoy it. It pains me to write this but for the first time in all these years I've been coming I have never felt so unwelcome. The older female ushers that were working the lower level closest to the restrooms were so nasty. We got there early and my two daughters stepped out for a few minutes and left their things to save their seats. These women kept hassling me over the two seats. The one kept saying we are taking those seats and asking me to go and find my daughters right now because they were going to take the seats. It was so stressful and so unnecessary. If you are going to be that nasty you really have no business volunteering for anything, ever. It wouldn't deter me from coming back because I'm not there for them but I can see why it would turn some folks off. Other than that everything has always been great.

I visited this church last night with a few friends and I'm so glad I did. Even though this isn't my home church, I'm open to new experiences. The Easter play was amazing! Powerful and well put together, it brought tears to my eyes. Everyone was very welcoming and pleasant! The church was well maintained and the staff were very helpful with seating a large amount of people. The pastor's message resonated with me. Lately, I've been trying to recommit and spiritually reconnect with God and the short sermon hit home for me. I know a few people that attend this church and I'm happy to finally have experienced it for myself.

I love pastor dale's messages. Always stays on track and on topic. I never find myself being bored in his messages. It really is food for the soul. However, I have experienced some negative things with the ushers at this church. First, some of the ushers won't allow you to sit in front if you have kids. My kids are 6&7 years old and are well behaved. One specific usher insisted that I sit in the back. Jesus said let the children come to me. So the fact that she wouldn't allow me to sit in front after I told her my kids will behave just ruined my morning at church. Second, my husband (who is Hispanic) was dressed in a hoodie and a beenie and was carrying a small bag with his bible and notes and checkbook in it. One of the ushers asked to search his bag since my husbands outfit looked suspicious. The usher basically judged my husband by what he was wearing. You are supposed to come as you are because Jesus will accept you inside and out. Our morning that day at church was also ruined. :( The ushers are not great at all. But the service and messages are excellent.

Great church! Went here for three years. There is a lot that goes into the organization and activities here. Pastor Dale is a solid preacher and has biblically consistent messages. If you prefer a larger campus there is the one on Woodfield or smaller ones in Shady Grove, Clarksburg, and Frederick. They really do try to reach out to the community and have various service activities you can become a part of. Worship is great and a lot of friendly people. The church is like anything, if you go and don't really get involved it can remain superficial. If you volunteer and become involved in small groups you will have a much deeper experience. Only negatives are: I wish they would let you sit and park where you want to. I realize it helps with organization but can also come off as controlling. Overrall, though, had an amazing experience.
