The store is very clean and well stocked. Service isn’t very friendly plus they charge you an extra 4% if you pay with a credit card. They even have a sign “save yourself 4% by paying in cash.” I’ll save it by going somewhere else where they’re friendlier and take credit cards without penalties.

The opening time has to be updated here on Google, it says the store opens at 9:30am, it is 9:45 now and the store is closed. I drove all the way here counting it would be open by the time posted.Apparently it is a recurring issue as there is a comment from another customer saying the same thing dated 8 months ago.

The sign outside their door says they open at 9:30 a.m. and online it says the same thing but I have been here several times at 9:30 10:00 a.m. and even 10:30 a.m. and they are always closed. If they want to open late they need to update their sign at the door and online because some of us make a drive out there and we waste time and gas and we end up going to la Fonda Paisa on Muddy Branch Rd instead. They are always open on time..(also I heard that the store will be sold and closed soon so if you need something make sure you go soon!)

OK, so this location is gonna require a bit of an explanation. So you know on Shady Grove Rd where the Melting Pot is? The shopping center with 7-11 in the front. There is also a Pho Place, Sherwin Williams, I'm pretty sure a cigar store, a vape store, and the new Galito's Chicken. Yep! That one. This store is in the corner of the little dug out section of the shopping center. I literally walked in expecting it to be the size of my living room. Spoiler Alert: I live in a 2 bedroom condo. The actual size of it... is the size of a living room in a 10 bedroom single family home. It's SO much bigger than what it appears to be, and it goes back. Way back. So don't even think you're gonna see the whole store if you look through the window, cause it's basically like a Narnia door. The place is CLEAN and ORGANIZED. Everything has its place in this store, and you can tell that the owners are meticulous about upkeep. Along the back right wall they even have about a half a dozen freezers where you can pick up everything from frozen veg, to frozen meats, frozen arepas, and what I ended up picking up... frozen passion fruit puree lol. Do I know how I'm gonna use it? Not a clue! But... I love me some passion fruit and I rarely find it in this form ready to use. They even have a little butchers counter with fresh meats in part of the store. With how clean the store is... I definitely would trust the meats coming out of that butcher. I also ended up picking up some frozen yucca that's been pre cooked, and some frozen mini potatoes which reminded me of this potato dish at Jaleo I used to get with these same size potatoes (they're about the size of pinballs). Also... if you aren't buying your spices at an International Market... I hate to be the one to break this to you, but you are being robbed blind. Like, the spices at international markets are always 1/10th the price of places like Giant or Safeway. Please please please... if you need to buy a lot of spices - come to a place like this. Also, they sell them in little bags, and you know you've ridden that viral tiktok train of getting matching glass spice bottles for all of your spices and dumping your spices from your ugly spice bottles into beautifully labeled jars so you're spice cabinet looks like a culinary palette. Hopefully you got one of the kits that come with a mini funnel - makes it so much easier. Or... just me? Adorable little store that I had no idea ever existed, and if not for waiting for my Galitos chicken to be ready, would have not even stopped in.
