It's very sad that I have to write this but I have to so that the owner knows what's going on in the store (Gaithersburg, MD).The shop attendant is very rude, gives an attitude if you want to try different dresses because you haven't found one that you like and simply doesn't know how to treat customers.He does not listen when spoken to and that is very annoying.We want to support black owned businesses but the customer service is lacking and this shop attendant is a prime example.I had to leave because I will not let someone be rude and talk down on me because I can't find a dress that I like and that fits my body right.Dear business, if you're reading this please do something about that, either he stays at the warehouse and packs order or you'll keep losing customers because a couple of my friends that I referred had bad experiences as well.

Placed an order for two dresses but received only one. I contacted customer service twice for my order and no response till today. This is so sickening. Learn to treat customers right.

I really want to give this store a zero rating because that's exactly what they deserve. I ordered $600 worth of merchandise and was told 2 items worth $140 were back ordered. I totally understood that even though their website showed that these items were in stock I was willing to overlook thst. They then gave me 3 options to wait on the restock, to get a store credit or a full Refund. I opted for my refund because they were taking time to even communicate why I hadn't received my items. Anyway it's been over 6weeks and I am getting the run around for my money. I have written numerous emails and its always "your refund is being processed ". I even spoke to some guy named Bill who said he was a co owner and still he just promised to send my refund and nothing came through. I still haven't received my money and now they don't pick up their calls. This is the worst service ever and I just wanted to let everyone know to deal with this store at your own risk.

I bought two suits at the same time in both a medium and large and neither fit! Sizing was not accurate online. I wear a medium or a 10 in 90% of items I purchase elsewhere and I couldn't button up the pants. (Made for extremely small waist and very wide hips). The jackets were both oversized! Not to mention there was blue marker outlined on the stitching of the WHITE suit. Defective! I RETURNED them the same day. They confirmed receipt of the items, but I've since been waiting WEEKS for a refund! I will not buy with Nalu again. They don't answer the phone and slow to respond to emails. Too bad because they have cute clothes

Ordered my birthday dress from this company the dress was cute, however, it was sent too big in a large when I ordered a small this dress also had defects the bra cup came off the thread which was holding it in place cheap threading and the shimmer low grade quality strap broke when trying it on I don't know how when it was to big cheap material and lazy seamstress birthday dress ruined. I tried contacting them via email no one never responded so I eventually ended up contacting my bank afterwards the company called and harassed by calling my phone so unprofessional after receiving a credit back they I'm seeking a lawyer now after I've recorded phone calls of this merchant and my credit was reversed via the bank.

I’d leave way more stars if I could. This store seems to be on the right track as a black owned business. The customer service is superb and I have no issues with my purchases. They were true to size and the fabric quality was top notch. I like my clothes neatly fitted, so I ordered one of the bandage dresses. It hugged my body in all the right places. I’m definitely ordering more ?

I always enjoy my shopping experience at Nalu’s boutique. Their customer service is exceptional all thanks to Bill. The quality of their garments is also 10/10. And of course their style is the reason I keep coming back. They always understand the assignment whether it’s for a casual night out, a big birthday celebration or a wedding. I highly recommend this boutique!
