The eye appointment was fine. I made the mistake of thinking it would be more convenient to order glasses in the same place. There were conflicts with the different layers of the lenses, which they didn’t do a great job of informing me about.
After 7 weeks and 3 unsuccessful attempts to fulfill the order, I gave up and ordered from Zenni online, which was able to fulfill it in 1 week for a little over 1/3 of the price ($70 compared to MyEyeDr’s discounted $200 (originally $500)). Zenni even had the FL-41 tint for photosensitivity that I wanted.
Everyone I spoke to at MyEyeDr was polite and wanted to help me, and they refunded me promptly, but there was a disconnect with the lab that makes the lenses. I wish they had not over-promised what they were capable of.

The service and staff were exemplary and met every standard--and beyond. Christina helped me before I saw the Dr., and she was fabulous. Very kind individuals, and fabulous care make MyEyeDr. a perfect eyecare provider.

I was welcomed by a very kind and gentle receptionist so I thought my first visit to this place would be great .
However the person in charge of the eye exam before meeting w the doctor was rude : first of she called for “Lauren” several times (this is not my name so I didn’t look at her or stood up) . But she kept calling louder and louder and I finally noticed she was looking at me , I said are you calling me ? And she said yes ! I told her well this is not my name so .. and it’s when she realized that she didn’t have the good paper. Obviously: zero apologies for calling that loud or anything!
She brought me into the room for eye exam and started telling me - before anything else - that I should get an additional eye exam that would cost this amount of money (I had to ask several times to understand that she was referring to a note of my previous visit at a different eye doctor location!) , so I declined !
Then I waited for the doctor , he was nice overall but he stressed me out because he was going so fast with the procedure , English is not my first language - everybody can tell from my accent - so I need some time and don’t like when things are rushed. At the end of the exam I have been told that I need better correction “as I’m reaching the magic age of 40! “ , that was not delicate at all ! And he told me about multiple options for glasses (to which I said no for since the beginning) ; and then while I declined a contact for my right eye (as it makes me feel dizzy) it was still on the prescription when I went to pay . Once again the receptionist was awesome and did a great job adjusting the prescription
I didn’t feel heard or treated nicely . I definitely won’t come back to this location.

Dr Adel Ibrahim was amazing ! He was skilled and was able correct my vision. He took the time to explain anything I asked with clarity. Would definably ask for him next time !

Inconsiderate and unprofessional.
Their phone system forces you to make an appointment online. I made an appointment online, showed up on time, and they tell me that my appointment had been canceled.
Q:Why wasn't I called?

Dr Quocanh Vu was very polite and efficient and explained all of the instruments to me, would recommend him as an optometrist. Online booking is very easy. No pressure to buy lenses, only went in for a health checkup. Will be back in a few years for my next checkup!

Don't bring your family here. They take advantage and don't help correctly. Certain people in there only likes their own kind so they diss you.

Had a very good experience.The good:- Easy to make appointment online- Optometrist Dr. Thomas was personable / skiilled- Recommended I try a new lens they prefer Baush and Lomb True Eye vs the Acuvue I was wearing. Turns out this is much more comfortable, easyer to put in , and same price point.- Dr was willing to get trial lenses for my old Acuvue just in case but turns out I stuck with the new ones- I was in the mode to just get my perscription and take it to Costco which I usually do to use the VSP insurance and not get ripped off at the optometrist office. However I'm glad I mentioned it to the technician Damien and he patienly reviewed benefits, and said they'd match contact prices so there wasn't a reason to go elsewhere. I gave it a try and the glasses pricing was negligible after my VSP benefits, and they did match contact pricing. So in the end I got much better service in a nice local establishment w/o having to fight the crowd at Costco.- They were able to electronically submit my info to the DMV to allow me to renew my license online - my old optemetrist wasn't plugged into the DMV system in that way.Neutral: I got a confirmation call day before which is fine but it said if I don't call back my appt would be cancelled. This was a little unsettling as I'm busy at work during the day and often don't get my personal voicemails during work hours. Luckily I did confirm, but this was a pain point of their pratice I've seen in other reviewsBad:Nothing really. Good location, great staff, no issues at this point, I'm recommending to other family members.

This is my second time seeing Dr. Thomas for my annual eye exam. He’s in a good mood, happy, polite, and thorough. I need three different prescriptions- distance, computer screens, and reading glasses. He makes sure you get exactly what you need, and never feel rushed.He truly seems to enjoy what he does, and it shows.100% recommend Dr. Thomas.

Dr. Thomas and Dr. Bae-Li are great. There’s a good selection of glasses and they accept most insurance plans. My only recommendation is calling clients when glasses arrive. In the past, myself and family members have had to call to check status of order.
