In 2013, I was involved in a no-fault car accident. Months after I paid out-of-pocket the $500 deductible, Michael Warfield's State Farm office issued me a check to refund that expense. However, for whatever reason, I never received that check. Because of the paperwork involved, I lost track of the refund issue. Years later, the missing refund was brought to my attention. When I contacted Warfield's office, they acknowledged that the refund is due to me but because the matter was years old, they wouldn't be issuing me the refund. Although Warfield's office was exceptionally communicative to me in how State Farm's internal policies work and why I can't be issued the refund, they were terrible at actually helping me. I had been with State Farm for all of my cars, homes, and apartments since I began driving when I was 15. I have moved on to Geico. Avoid Warfield if for no other reason this type of lack of conern for policyholders.
