The fence looks nice, thanks to the quality of the wood and the guys did work hard for the day it took to install.
However, the overall experience was a bit pricey, and some parts of the fence felt unfinished.
Additionally, there were some scheduling issues that impacted the project.
The handles were also odd, as there was no way to lock the gate from the outside, making it only lockable from the inside.

Do not use this business!I used them for deck and fence repair and they did a horrible job.They left a mess all over my property. They got paint everywhere under my deck and let concrete dry on my blacktop driveway. They missed several spots when repainting my deck. Furthermore, they didn't properly secure boards they replaced creating safety hazards. They also lied and said they power washed our deck and never did. They also said they would sand the deck before restraining and never did. They missed several spots when repainting the deck that is a clear indication of the poor quality work. They didn't replace boards they said they were going to replace. I contacted them to ensure they adjust the quote and don't charge me. They haven't responded in three days.Stay far away from this business!!!

I'm really surprised by the negative reviews for this company. I had a fantastic experience with Master Fences in the summer of 2021. It's a family run business with great customer services and prices. They had the most competitive quote when I was looking to build a fence (Long Fence quoted me more than double than Master Fences). This was during the lumber shortage related to the pandemic, and this company did a great job updating me on when they would expect materials. The crew was efficient and built the fence in just one day. They even fixed a small issue with a board on a pre-existing deck (not built by Master Fences) without me even asking or charging me for it. The fence is absolutely beautiful. I went with red cedar, which is a little more expensive, but will likely last me longer than pressure treated. Because of the summer humidity, the gate had a small alignment issue about a month after it was built. Master Fences sent someone over to fix it right away (without a charge). Would recommend!

If there is a -5 starts for review selection, that will be my score review for this business. Somehow all other review looks like "family and friends" reviews to me now.First of all, they scheduled a quote appointment that is 2 weeks and 4 days later on the day I called.Second the business hour is 8 to 5 but somehow after 2:30pm no one answers the calls anymore.Third, no one ever confirm the appointment (due to they do not answer the phone after 2:30pm).Fourth, they NO show on the day of appointment day and no one answer the phone after 2 pm on the day of the appointment....Don't tell me, "did you leave a voicemail" since no one answer the phone.... I don't believe they will check the voicemail.....Way to do business!!!Service: Installation

I had a fence post that broke and a gate that neededTo be replaced. The original company couldn’t do the repair for a couple of months. Other companies didn’t want to bother with a small project. Master Fence came to my rescue. They also discussed several options for my new gate. I appreciated the time the estimator took and his assistance in my choosing a new gate. Originally I thought it would be a couple ofWeeks but they came out sooner than I expected.They did a great job and there was no mess- didn’t destroy my garden

Most professional quote and amazing work. These guys showed up and installed a privacy fence in one day while having to share their space with another company who was demoing our concrete patio. They don’t sub out the work and it really shows! Couldn’t be happier!

I think Master Fence does a good job, but their prices are comparatively high and sometimes unreasonable. There are other fence installers who do a comparable job and are much, much more reasonable. Get competitive bids, even if the job seems small. Quality work does not need to be overpriced.

I am reading the other 2 reviews and wondering if they used the same company I did. I requested an estimate for my parents in Rockville to replace a fence post and adjust 2 gates. They came out when scheduled and provided a quick (and fair) estimate within a few minutes. Then this morning they came to complete the work - they arrived early, and finished the work quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.
