This is the most foul so-called “salon.” We called ahead as it was our first time there and asked for the price for a specific small cut (bangs). We spoke with Christina on the phone who was professional. We were quoted an amount and set a time to come in.We show up at said time and walk-in with no greeting. The establishment was packed with people yet very few were getting a service. Most were chatting with the employees inside. We explained we’d called ahead and were there for bangs and possibly sideburns to get cut. One of the employees pointed at us and motioned to come sit. They take us in the chair without a towel around the neck, without a cape and immediately begin cutting hair. It was quick and dirty, by its true definition. We asked for sideburns to be cut with the bangs. Five minutes later we go to pay for our botched cut bc he not only cut the sideburns but half of the top of the head - not the back of the head at all, just the front - legit looking like a mullet because the front received a choppy cut but the back was left completely in tact.We thank him and go to pay and we’re now being charged three times the original amount we’re quoted by another woman. We ask for Christina and repeated our quote and are told Christina’s left for the day. This short woman with thick glasses and an attitude the size of the Eiffel Tower steps up and says that’s the price for getting side burns added to your bangs being cut. The charge goes up to a full cut whenever side burns are added. Ok..That doesn’t seem fair. We say so and she says that’s what it is. So we ask, why weren’t we told so when we asked to add sideburns that it would be the same price to get a full cut? If we’re being charged a full cut, why weren’t we given an opportunity then to get a full cut? But this woman’s attitude is so nasty there’s no point in discussing it. We’re paying, but she continues to belittle us. We set aside a $20 tip for our hair dresser because he did his job, albeit poorly, but he was decent. This woman though, whom we were later told by our hairdresser who walked outside to thank us, explained she was the owner. She identified herself as Louisa and she was THE epitome of nasty. She went out of her way to talk down to us because we questioned the upcharge and when we said we wouldn’t be back and would leave an honest review of her behavior, she proceeded to tell us verbatim, “that’s ok, we don’t need every kind of people’s business.” Alrighty then.So as promised here’s our honest feedback. At the end of the day, it’s just hair, it’ll grow back, but the customer service we received from this woman, Louisa was down right disgusting. Based on just that alone, I’d give it zero stars if it were possible. This place is not friendly, it’s not a relaxing experience that you’ll receive, it’s overpriced as they nickel and dime you, they were not concerned with protocols of using capes or towels around the neck, AND they do not appreciate your patronage. I’m all about spending locally and going to Mom and Pop places as opposed to larger commercialized establishments, but word to the wise on this literal hole in the wall, spend your money somewhere where you’re appreciated.

After going 3 times, I have decided I need to find a new salon to get my hair trimmed. Every time I have a new stylist and I always ask for the “v” shape and they can never get it right. Hair is NEVER blended. I never been to a salon that takes under 10 minutes to get that same cut style. They are nice but that doesn’t make up for my botched hair.Service: Haircut
