Although the service was wonderful I feel a bit scammed on the price. I saw on the website that pedi’s were 30 and gel mani was 35. Seemed very reasonable and when I went in I had a design in mind. After showing the design, I again asked for the price because some places charge extra - she confirmed the price for my manicure was 35. When it was time to pay I was expecting 65 but she quoted me 55. 20 for a simple design is OUTRAGEOUS even when I asked the price beforehand. My sister had the same services done as myself and was charged 65 for a simpler design. We were felt defeated and had no energy to argue and paid the price - even tipped 20% regardless. Will not be coming back.

I’m just generally sad. It was very rushed and my nails have bumps on them. Saw my nail artist rolling her eye to her coworkers when I was trying to decide on something. I don’t know I just felt sad after leaving. I don’t recommend.

LOVED my experience at Lux nails for you! Came into town for a wedding and Mei have me the most beautiful full set of dip nails plus a wonderful matching no-chip pedicure. Wish Mei was in Chicaho because I would definitely come back to her regularly! Highly recommended!

I got a French mani/Pedi and May was WONDERFUL. Fun to chat with during my manicure, but also was fine during my "me time" for pedicure. I got french style with acrylic. She asked what shape I wanted and was spot-on with shaping. Her work was so exact and delicate. I was VERY impressed. I took off half a star because her massages for both manicure and pedicure were very weak, almost like just rubbing her hand against my leg. But I didn't ask for an adjustment on pressure or anything because the quality of the french tip was MUCH more important to me. I took off another half star because the prices seemed high compared to other salons. $120 for french manicure with tips and simple french pedicure. But it's for a wedding so perfection was key, and they definitely delivered on that!

Horrible quality nails. I got dip powder and the next day it was all cracked up. Even one of my nails almost cracked all the way through and split my nail in half. I went the next day to get it fixed and they said they would not redo it without having me pay for it and would instead only put a gel coat over the dip powder. Who does that?? The gel obviously chipped off the next day. These nails didn’t even last 3 full days… what a waste of $60. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because they were nice even and the shape was fine.

I was trying out a new salon and gave Lux Nails For You two chances. The first time my nail technician was better but the second technician was not skilled at all. I went in on Friday and the technician didn't have great attention to detail, he made my cuticle bleed, was rushed, and one of my nails chipped by the next day with two more nails chipped by Sunday. I've never had such a poor manicure job and was so disappointed. Needless to say, I won't be going back to this salon.

I had them take off gel and asked for a manicure. They left me with jagged brittle nails and an uneven nail bed!!!! They also argued my nails were like that and still charged. I’m crying because as a mom of two getting my nails done is a luxury and this was a waste of time!!! My nails are disgusting!Service: Manicure

There is plenty of parking nearby in the back so don't worry like I did. I just didn't want to parallel park on the old narrow streets. I came here to pamper myself after work with a mani/pedi. I called and made an appointment less than a week from when I wanted it done and it went by relatively easy. I like how me and my fiancé had two different experiences. I pretty much had my mani/pedi without small talk and I actually like that. I just relaxed. My fiancé had small talk throughout the whole process. She didn't mind it, but I just thought it was interested how we had different experiences at the same time. They were efficient with their time and was able to work through both of our hands and feet without any issues. I rarely get manicures and pedicures so I do not know how they compare to others, but I am happy with the result. They do take credit cards, but I suggest you bring cash for tipping.

Great service, and Mike was able to for me in last minute to fix another salon's issues! Needless to say I am just getting back from a two week vacation. And Mike's handy work survived two Baptisms and prep for a wedding! My cuticles are shot (but they never do well) but my nails hardly have any chips!

I got a mani pedi (regular) with paraffin treatment for both hands and feet. While the technician took her time smoothing out the callouses on my feet, the paraffin she applied did not quite cover my whole foot, specifically the toes which I really needed. When I asked her to correct it, she didn't exactly put a lot of effort into it. By the time she got to my hands, I think she realized she was running out of time. She spent way less time on my hands. No hand massage, and the polish is quite a wreck even with three coats of color. When it was clear she was not going to clean up a particularly untidy edge, I asked her to do so. Again, she didn't exactly put a lot of effort into it. For $85+20% tip, this is not an experience I will recommend.
