The service is excellent, from painless appliance ordering, to a thorough search for the correct rubber seal. There's always someone around the corner to ask if I need help with anything. This is how it should be, but at home improvement stores, it can be hard to come by. I drive here for the pleasant experience and easy parking over a closer competitor.

I buy a lot of items from Lowe’s and Home Depot as I do repairs on rental properties. I purchased a dryer steam hose kit (Eastman) a Lowe’s brand exclusive that costs around $30, and I ended up not needing it. Took it back to the store and tried to return it but I lost the receipt. Did not expect a refund, but I did expect store credit. I was going to use this store credit towards the purchase of a garbage disposer. Bought the garbage disposer anyway as it was there and not in stock at the Home Depot. I also tried to pick up a 1-1/2 inch x 6in sink drain tailpiece pipe that was in stock (6). It was not in stock! I do like Home Depot better, but Lowe’s tends to have items in stock when it comes to big purchases. Now I get the garbage disposer home and it was a taped up box with opened packages inside. This makes the one good thing about Lowe’s not good anymore. I wanted to like Lowe’s, but Lowes is starting to treat me like all of Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriends. Since I cannot write songs about it, I will sever this relationship and take the disposer back. I will be ordering it online from Home Depot. Look what you made me do!!!

Pretty good store. Very clean and organized. They get so much in there. It's not overwhelming. The workers are nice, but some can be indifferent or ignore you completely. I like that, but as a customer, you're not there to be adored. The store has much more variety than most. I've bought a few appliances from them. I had a bad experience from their installer for my water heater, but that was years ago. The sale was easy and effortless.

Wonderful customer service! Huge huge thank you to Sunnie and Bryan who helped me retrieve an out-of-season item that was stored away at the top of an aisle.

My recent encounter with Lowe's Home Improvement in Gaithersburg, MD has left me utterly disgusted and appalled at their abysmal level of customer service. The incompetence displayed by their so-called "Pro Desk" and delivery team is nothing short of a comedy of errors, albeit at the expense of my time, money, and sanity. With the intention of making a substantial purchase of approximately $5000 worth of Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), I inquired about the possibility of availing white glove delivery services due to the logistical challenge of transporting around 3600lbs of flooring material to my second-floor condo. The Pro Desk representative, in what can only be described as a delusional state of confidence, after some convoluted back-and-forth with their manager, assured me that they could accommodate my request for an additional service, given the size of my order. The very next day, Lowe's delivery driver unceremoniously dumped the colossal 5000lbs load of LVP at my doorstep, leaving me flabbergasted. A subsequent call to Lowe's, which felt like a futile exercise in masochism, only led to more false promises. I was assured that a specialized team would soon follow to assist in delivering the LVP into my condo. What followed was an excruciating four-hour ordeal of waiting, during which I felt like a pawn in a twisted game of customer service roulette. Multiple calls to Lowe's only served to exacerbate my frustration, as each time, I was reassured that help was on the way. Alas, the promised rescue team never materialized, and my condo remained LVP-free.In a final act of desperation, I had no choice but to hire external assistance, completely undermining Lowe's commitment to white glove delivery. I would like to extend a sarcastic "shoutout" to Gus and Tim over at Lowe's in Gaithersburg for their exceptional skills in overpromising, underdelivering, and showcasing a breathtakingly underwhelming display of customer service. In summary, Lowe's Home Improvement in Gaithersburg has not only failed to meet the basic standards of customer service but has also managed to turn a potentially straightforward transaction into a nightmare of epic proportions. I implore anyone considering doing business with this establishment to think twice and explore alternatives that value their customers' time, money, and sanity.

Horrible experience! You ask for help and employees are having conversations within themselves while you stand there NO acknowledgement. I originally went there for tile but left due to everyone being so unhelpful.

Very organized place. I think we can find most of what you need in this store.

The staff member who assisted us today was very knowledgeable about the return process. She quickly processed our returns, told us how much was going back on the card and provided a receipt. In and out in less than 5 minutes!
