This place is really expensive for Gaithersburg so I’d expect great service. The tech did a terrible job on my nails. She cut and filed and I asked for them shorter and she said no and called a man over who said my nails were too brittle to file more- what? Then she finally did it - after rolling her eyes many times. They are all crooked. She was so rude and the service was so bad and overpriced.

Requested style: I’ve visited 4 times here and they don’t care what style i want they do what they wanna do and if i say anything they talk so rude so i wish I could give them 0 star
Cleanliness: Very unprofessional employees.old lady was coughing so much in my face when she was doing my manicure.

this nail shop is the epitome of customer service! there has been several occasions where I was strapped for time and they went out of the way to make sure that I was able to get my nails done prior to going to an event or going out of town. It is always very clean in the pedicure chairs are also very comfortable. I recently got SNS nails for the first time in several years and they look wonderful and very natural not thick at all. I am always satisfied with my nails when I come to the shop

Jenny is the best! She always does exactly what I envisioned. She’s the only person I see and sometimes it’s hard getting a 1hr block with her because they do her schedule really weird. The wait has been ridiculous sometimes but usually I don’t have an issue if I specify I need an hour with Jenny and make an appointment. This is some of the work she’s done on my nails and my daughters. I will say I have such a hard time when I take my daughter because they don’t sit us together (she’s 9) and will have her wait so long because they prioritize the adult clients even if they come in after us.
Update:
Jenny has moved to Linda nails! I followed her where she went because this salon itself is terrible.

You throw a stone you find a nail place in our area. After trying a handful of places, I keep coming back to Lotus even though it’s far for my patronage. The completed nails are top quality and process is time spent with care. It’s not the most affordable place, but the nails last and quality are worth the price. I only get gel manis and pedis as a treat to myself a couple times a year, so making the travel to this place is worth it. I always walk away impressed with Lotus. Thank you!

I was SO impressed with Lotus Nails! This will be my go to nail salon from here on out! Not only was I impressed by how beautiful the quality of my nails turn out was, it was really refreshing to have such kindness given by management as soon as I walked in the door and my fabulous nail expert technician, Amy! I truly felt like VIP! Lotus nails FAR EXCEEDED my expectations for having self care today! I HIGHLY recommend Lotus Nails, look no further!

I asked for eyebrow wax and tint. The wax was fine but you could tell she missed spots she could have cleaned better, little hairs she didn't pluck away. When it came time for the tint she made a terrible shape, it looked like that meme of the chihuahua dog with drawn on eyebrows. I'm taking bubble round at the front and curved to the end. Mind you I had my babyshower the next day, I was freaking out. On top of that I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant and received unwarranted "compliments" like I carry so well but I look tired. Or their usual tactics of "I see you have mustache I can take care of that for $8". Absolutely trash service and I tipped only because it's a habit for me. Plus I don't agree with their pricing for the quality of service. It's apparent they charged that much because of their rent.

Mediocre service, the worst part was that they forgot I was waiting for my pedicure in the corresponding section. I was placed there by one of them, and then they all were passing by but did not stop until someone noticed. The lady who finally completed my pedicure kept saying : "I am so sorry...." besides that she did not say anything else nor even her name. If you are Hispanic do not go there. They only care for white-american customers. They make wait longer than all the other customers even if you got there first.

This is the best nail salon in the area! They ate professional, clean, and friendly. Linda is amazing! Part of my nail is missing from a medical procedure I had and I was embarrassed about it. Somehow, she formed a nail to cover it up so I didn't have to wear a bandaid on that one finger. Totally boosted my confidence! She is careful and always gives me exactly what I want no matter how difficult it is.

I must say moving to Maryland from North Carolina and trying to find a nail tech has been extremely difficult. I travel a lot and have a demanding schedule. I have tried many nail businesses in Maryland. When I think that I have found a nail business, the next time I return, the customer service is poor, or the quality of work is lacking. For the first, IN A LONG TIME, I can say that Lotus Nails has been consistent with both customer service and quality. I have been in search for 2 years. Linda and staff have been extremely accommodating with my last minute needs without attitude. I have received services on different days and times. I am pleased with their work, and I am hopeful that the level of service will continue.

Love Lotus Nails! My daughter is very picky and she wanted a very specific shape for her nails. Ricky did amazing job! I also got a fantastic and super relaxing pedicure with Nam. I highly recommend Lotus nails.

Just terrible. Made an appointment with the owner but she sent me to a different employee. 2 hours went and the work was the poorest. Doesn’t know how to do designs?! If is that so PLEASE BE HONEST AND SAY YOU DON’T DO DESIGNS!! Need a lot of work in customer service . I TRULY MISS JENNY!!
