I recently visited Lakeside Beer & and Wine and was very disappointed with my experience. First of all, the store only carries beer and wine, which was unexpected and quite limiting. I was hoping for a wider selection of liquor. Moreover, the customer service was lacking. The cashier didn't even acknowledge me when I entered the store. A simple greeting goes a long way in making customers feel welcome, and unfortunately, that was missing here.I hope the store considers expanding their inventory and improving their customer service. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this store to others.

Sold me a bottle of saki that was opened and had clearly been sitting on the shelf for a while. Called and explained the situation, he told me to come back and he'll refund it. When I got back he started making a bunch of excuses and said he couldn't refund it. Store is messy with mouse droppings on the shelves. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else

Great customer service. Some of the best craft beer selection in the Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village area. They are happy and eager to order specialty brews for you, as well. They appear to specialize in carrying local brews such as DuClaw, Heavy Seas, and Flying Dog, but they also have Lagunitas, Dogfish, and Stone. I strongly recommend dropping by if you're looking to buy some delicious craft brews!
