We rented an instrument from L&L Music-Wind for our kid and are highly satisfied with both the instrument and the services. The staff was very friendly, offering us options and detailed information. The rental and return process was easy, making it a trustworthy place for instrument rentals.

I bought a ‘59 Semer MarkVI and had it shipped to the shop. It had corrosion and had not been serviced for 40 years. Picked it up and it looks, plays and sounds amazing. I just cannot believe how great Gary and Steve made my sax sound. It was worth the wait.

Visiting the L&L Music-Wind shop twice. Steve who is the owner inspected my vintage saxophone for free and also gave me a free reed. When I went back to fix a pink key on another tenor saxophone today, I also got no changes at all. Plus, I got 20% off on accessories in the holiday season. Highly recommend to everyone ?

This is an amazing shop....the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful. I needed to have my instrument fixed, most other stores send things out for basic fixes. They evaluated the issue and fixed it on-site.I gladly drive from Leesburg to Gaithersburg for them.

The staff were very nice and very social. They acted like your their your best firend and were allfunny and happy. They really helped fix my instrument and gave 1 small fix for free and a free reed.(I play clarinet)They offered me lessons and a staff helped me with my form for free. Overall I give this a 5 star and will definitely be back soon. (I don't know if they will give the same amount of free stuff but I really recommend coming here, plus you never know)

I just purchased a flute for my boy here. Mr. Steve is nice, knowledgeable, patient and humorous. They offer lessons too. I signed up flute lessons with Mrs. Diane. She evaluated and taught my son some techniques right there. Awesome customer service!

Visited Steve and his team today at their new location. Repair shop is spacious and busy! Great stock of instruments and accessories. Warm and welcoming staff. Looking forward to visiting this area institution again.

I've been going years did years, before they moved.The customer service is great.They do quick estimates on repairs.I sold some mouthpieces there. It was an easy process.Good selection of instruments, accessories and sheet music.My favorite things:1️⃣ They let your try out instruments and mouthpieces2️⃣ They sell individual reeds! This is my favorite part. This is really helpful when trying to find the best Reed for a mouthpiece. Every other store forces you to buy a while box.

My Buffet clarinet was purchased new by my parents more than 65 years ago! This is the second time it has been refurbished. It now plays as it did when newly purchased and looks nearly new!!

They have a great selection of music, instrument repair, instruments, and accessories. Their music instruments staff are the best and they are dedicated to their crafts.I have first hand knowledge for my husband taught here years ago before we retired out of state.

L&L really is the only place to consider for new and used woodwinds, accessories, or maintenance and repair. I've gotten EXCELLENT deals on one used, and two new, Cannonball saxophones here. I've also had two damaged horns repaired in L&L's repair shop expertly at quite reasonable prices.
