I really like this place!! They have a large selection of crystal beads, and an even bigger selection of sterling silver beads and components, as well as high quality tools and materials you would need to make jewelry. I have bought sterling silver and gold-filled wire and components here many time as well as crystal beads. It's not a fancy place, at first glance, it can seem messy and scattered. But if you're willing to browse, I'm pretty sure you could find a lot of things that call you here.

The owner is very personable, helpful, and knowledgeable about their bead inventory. Easy to find - store is in the rear of the bldg, good amount of parking. Will absolutely return for purchase at a later date.

Even after moving several states away, I continue to return to KK for the high quality pearls, gems and Sterling at reasonable prices. In fact I won't buy my pearls anywhere else!

Great prices and selection of silver, vermeil, and plated gold findings. The owners are very nice. The only cons is that I personally find the gemstone beads a little pricey.

I'm an occasional beader -- it's usually to add beads to an article of clothing such as a wedding veil or a shawl. This place has a lovely assortment of beads and findings (both silver and gold). From single beads to stringed beads, she likely has a color that I can use. Prices are reasonable and although online ordering can be cheaper, I prefer to be able to see how the beads look before I purchase them.

This store has a great selection of silver beads and findings (and some gold and vermeil too), gemstone beads (from very affordable to only-in-my-dreams), and some other beads as well (pearls, Swarovski, Czech crystal, etc). It is a smaller, basic store, but the owner is such a gracious woman it was easy to see why she was so popular... While I was there, she helped several different people find very particular pieces for jewelry they were working on, and she also offered to search for and custom order pieces as well. She sells at the Bethesda Women's Coop on Wednesdays and Fridays, and will bring any inventory there if you ask her. Her husband is just as friendly and helpful.

This store has very interesting jewelry at reasonable prices. The best part is that the owner, Rishma, will work with you to create your own design with any of the beads and gems the store has. I have received many compliments from persons who notice my unique jewelry.

I like that this place is not as commercial feeling as other spots in town. The shop's got a small dense feel to it which is always cozier to me than spacious stores with little inventory. Even though it was not what I was looking for, I liked that there were lots of Indian and Bali beads and a general ethnic flair to the store. If you're looking for more metals like sterling silver and gold, they definitely have a lot to choose from. I gave them a 3 only because they didn't have what I needed but I can see this place being a jewel for someone else
