Our Church was looking to have a red oak cabinet built for our trophies. Raffi from Kholanian Custom Cabinets was recommended to us and we couldn't have picked a more professional, courteous, fair and honest person! He got the job done in a timely and efficient manner. We asked Raffi to design and build custom built-in bookshelves in our home office. He made important improvements to our draft design, including incorporating a desk within the bookshelves. He was receptive to specific requests we had for the project, including adding two file drawers and three toe-kick drawers. He communicated frequently to make sure we were on the same page about customization decisions. We had a tight timeline, and Raffi worked overtime to make sure the project was complete when we needed it. We are very pleased with the outcome; it has completely revamped our office!

(Kholanian Custom Cabinets (Raffi) has made two built in cabinet systems for my home. The first one, a cherry built in 18 ft long base cabinet with doors and drawers capped with a travertine surface. Above the base cabinet are three floating shelves. This beautiful cabinet serves as our family room entertainment center with custom drawer inserts for media storage and file storage behind the doors. It was built just over 13 years ago and it remains as beautiful as the day it was installed. Just over 4 years ago he built a custom mahogany cabinet and shelves for a high end vintage stereo system. Everything from the multiple finishes to custom lighting I installed afterwards makes this piece of built in furniture a beautiful focal point that perfectly matches the existing furniture in the room. From conception, through design, build and installation Raffi asked pertinent questions, had great suggestions and delivered as promised for the agreed upon price, on time. After renting out my house for five years and needing to prep my house for sale, I hired Kholanian Custom Cabinets to reface my oak cabinets. Raffi and his crew removed all the cabinet doors and took them back to their shop to sand and repaint. They also carefully taped plastic sheeting in my kitchen and sprayed two coats of paint to reface the cabinets. They then re-installed the doors with new hinges. The kitchen looks absolutely fantastic and the kitchen cabinets look brand new. I would recommend them to anybody for any type of cabinet work.Services: Cabinet repair

Raffi is absolutely amazing! I had such a tough time finding a vendor who could make a custom built in bench over a radiator in our kitchen. He responded to my inquiry in minutes, came out to see and provide measurements, and provide a reasonable quote for the scope of work. He is puntual, responsive, fair, and all around wonderful guy to work with. We could not say better things about him!

Raffi and Hamoud made the potentially painful job of refacing and refreshing my tired old kitchen into a delight. Raffi was attentive, patient, reliable and had great ideas about what to do to save me money and make my kitchen look brand new. He designed and built a custom island for my tiny space which was better than anything I could have dreamed of and helped me pick out the perfect cabinet doors to update my whole kitchen. He kept me informed during every step of the process, was always on time for every appointment, and went above and beyond in every way possible. We have a historic house (built in 1890) in Frederick. One of the exterior doors was falling apart and we decided it needed replacement. Raffi was able to provide a new heavy duty door which he was able to cut to fit our 130 year old settled house, finish beautifully and install a new lock all within 2 weeks. When we called other places they said it would just take 6-8 weeks just for a raw door to be delivered. Thanks Raffi for you quality work and quick service!

Wow!! I cannot say how impressed I have been with this company! From replying immediately to my Yelp inquiry to being friendly and extremely knowledgeable, I’ve had an incredible experience with Kholanian Custom Cabinets.
