Having recently moved from Texas, I've bee going to Jimmy's now for a couple of months now for my nails. I tried another salon in Olney, but was disappointed with both hair and nail services. At Jimmy's, Katie does my nails and she dedicated so much time to them assuring they are perfect. Each time, I've been overly happy right after my nails! She's very sweet and funny. It's been so easy to schedule with her as well! I just had another nail appointment yesterday and asked if I can make an appointment for highlights and a trim to my short hair and when the next available appt is. They were able to fit me in right after getting my nails done... and my goodness!!! Jimmy did an INCREDIBLE job with my highlights and haircut!! I haven't been this happy with a haircut since I lived in Oregon 4 years ago (I'm military)! Great hair artistry, Jimmy!! Such a fun place too! Staff is wonferful and likes to laugh. THIS is the place I'll be going for a LONG time!! ??

Excellent pedicure - great attention to detail, clean, nice chairs and more massage than I am used to. Also, they have lowered their prices for 2024 which is really nice to see. I wish there were more small businesses like this one.

I sat on this one for a couple of days before posting. I’ve been getting my nails done for a long time and I can honestly say I’ve rarely been this disappointed. Decided to try this place since the reviews were great and it was closer than my other salon. I called Monday morning asking for an appointment for dip for that afternoon. The woman who answered the phone wasn’t rude, just rushed, and didn’t even take my name for the appointment - okay fine, not a problem. I show up at my allotted time and both people working were doing pedicures. Again, fine - not a big deal. I waited for a few minutes and the woman came to ask what I had on my nails - dip, I told her. She proceeded waive me to her station to start taking my dip off with acetone and cotton wrapped in foil. She let one mail sit for MAYBE 30 seconds before taking off the foil and trying to get the dip off - nowhere near enough time. So it turned into a huge mess that took twice as long as you’d expect. Then she started my color - black. Huge mistake. She didn’t use any base/clear powder, she BARELY filed or shaped them (and never asked what shape I liked before I volunteered the information) and was not careful with the dip application. My nails are a mess. They are crooked at the top and uneven on the sides. The dip is messy and super thick. Most nails have peaks and valleys. I’ve tried to work on them over the past few days but only seem to feel worse about them. After my nails were done, she didn’t even use lotion - she just squirted some cuticle oil on my hand. She didn’t rub it in - I had to wipe my hands on my pants so it didn’t get all over my wallet. In the end, I paid more than I normally do for a product I was not happy with. Usually I try to communicate directly with the business to make things right before a review, but I am honestly scared to go back. They get two stars mainly because they were polite and the salon was clean.

I've been coming to Jimmy's Nails for years and they provide excellent service! They are never over-crowded, but have a nice steady stream of faithful customers. They give a lengthy appointment every time and never make you feel rushed. I most often get their French pedicure and their work is very precise and excellent . They are very kind and skilled at what they do. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they allow a nice hour long time for pedicures. I feel extremely comfortable and satisfied going there and leave relaxed, refreshed, and professionally treated. I highly recommend Jimmy's Nails to anyone!

What a find ! Waited til second visit to post a review to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke. They take their time doing everything, no rushing through. The people working there are super nice and do a really nice job. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back.Services: Manicures
