Stay at this Holliday in express 2 weeks ago for an event the next day at Seneca Creek State Park The room was good and normal. Didn't have any problems at all. Like that they had a variety of coffee stores in the area.

I went there for a wedding event and the young woman who was getting married asked for two rooms there to get ready for herself, her husband and everything. The party for her wedding asked for one for the men to get ready and another for the females, nice attention and a nice place. Price, I don't know why I only took my girl and they would fix her since my girl participated in the wedding too. ?

A Bedbug was crawling on the pillow in the room that I had just checked into after a long trip and an extremely tiring day. Thank goodness that I noticed the movement of a small bug on the pillow before climbing into bed. Of course, I called the desk and reported that I was checking out, and shared the picture to the agent at the desk who agreed that it was a bed bug. A refund was given, but the response from the manager was rude and disrespectful.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg from Wednesday through Thursday and had an incredibly disappointing experience. After my stay, I noticed a smoking fee of $250 charged to my credit card, with an additional pending amount of $50. As a non-smoker who always ensures cleanliness and tidiness, this charge is completely unjustified and outrageous.
What made the situation even worse was the lack of communication. I was not notified of this charge at checkout or via email. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone an IHG property.
In an attempt to resolve the issue, I contacted IHG Guest Relations, who advised me to speak directly with the hotel. However, when I called the hotel, I was only able to speak with the manager of housekeeping, as there was no other manager on duty. This further demonstrates the poor management and lack of accountability at this location.
I am thoroughly disgusted with how this situation has been handled and am requesting a full refund. At the very least, the smoking charge and the pending incidental fee should be removed from my card. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I will be reconsidering my loyalty to the IHG brand in the future. Avoid this hotel if you value transparency and professionalism.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. I got stuck in an elevator during my stay. I called the front desk to have maintenance come help and the maintenance man never showed up. I had to call 911 and was finally able to get out after 30 minutes. On top of that, the firefighter told me they had been there not even 3 days before due to a different elevator getting stuck at this same hotel. Then the front desk lady proceeds to tell me “this happens at least once a week”???? The elevator had no air and it was extremely hot. The hallways were also extremely hot, there was no hot water in my room. I had to shower with cold water. I do not recommend this hotel.

Room is okay disappointed pictures show a hot tub. There is no hot tub pool was nice. Pool area needs updating and cleaned. Photos online look better then what it is. These are my photos I took. Front desk young lady very nice and friendly. What we saw driving through the area. It seems like a safe nice area.

I stayed here about 6 years ago. It was just as nice this visit. I was the only person in the workout room. I didn't eat in the hotel. The pool looked good, but I didn't use it.
Rooms: I had a king bedroom. It had a mini fridge and a small microwave. I liked the pull out table. It was a pleasant stay.

This hotel is a 2-star at best. The rooms were not the cleanliest. The tub would backup during showers, of 4 elevators only one worked. The breakfast Buffett was limited and very cold as if it was sitting there all morning. We requested adjoining rooms but were given separate rooms splitting up the family for our trip. Definitely not somewhere we would go again.

Nice rooms but the cleaning lady kept trying to open my door 3 hours before checkout twice to ask when we were checking out not sure where the communication between them and the front desk for them to enter rooms while guest are asleep to ask for a checkout time

As a professional rugby team, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The facilities suited our needs and the service was outstanding. The staff and management were polite, friendly and made our stay enjoyable. One of the best memories we have is the staff helping us celebrate one of our players 30th birthdays. The rooms are just okay. Our room had an A/C unit that didn't condense and so couldn't cool the room (this was on a hot day, so the room was around 78F and couldn't cool below that). They sent maintenance promptly but were unable to repair. We were transferred to another room but one with just one king bed vs our reservation for two beds. The service varied depending on the person. There were a few people who were (or tried to be) quite helpful and others who were really not helpful at all. I probably won't stay here again. The location is good.
