Helix was great! Flexible, fast, and friendly!I needed help unloading a truck in DC on short notice. They were helpful and transparent with scheduling and pricing. Helix is very reasonably priced, especially for DC. The movers were able to be flexible they day of the move as my truck arrival time changed. They were very fast and professional unloading, and respectful of my things and my space.I will absolutely use them for my next move!

My move with Helix Transfer and Storage was fantastic! I received continuous communication from quote to confirmation of the move from Peter and Victor.The moving team were Vasil, Eliot, and Carlos, who were simply amazing! They were friendly, respectful, and focused on the job. The move was completed as per the quoted hours and price. All of my items were accounted for after the move. The company embodies professionalism and most importantly respect for your time and money. Well done!

Fantastic moving experience. Jorge and his team were efficient and very helpful with any specific packing/moving requests. They came well prepared with equipment and additional packing materials.They were thorough with the paperwork, perfectly on time with arrival and delivery, and managed to get the cost to equal the estimate with no surprises.The company itsself is by far the most affordable in the region, beating out others I got estimates from by hundreds of dollars.

Jorge and Eliut helped me move from my apartment to a townhouse, and they were both great! They operated quickly and took great care of all my furniture. I requested to add an additional stop at another apartment to pick up some items, and they added this stop with no additional charge (beyond the hourly fee). I definitely recommend Helix Transfer and Storage!

This was the first time I used professional movers and I was super impressed. I needed my 1 bedroom apartment to be placed into storage. They took the extra time to wrap everything and keep it protected. They also worked their magic to organized (tetris style) my belongings into the 10x10 storage unit. I even had extra space if I needed to store additional items. I would definitely recommend Helix transfer for my moving needs in the future! Thank you Peter :)

Start to finish Helix delivered exactly what I needed! Let me start by saying I had a horrible expedience with another company years ago and when it came time to move items out of storage to my home, I hired helix and was very satisfied with their professionalism and meticulous way they moved every thing in. Fast forward to now needing my next move (with full packing service) and they showed up for me yet again with great overall service.Peter at the helix office helped me with my estimate both times, he has clearly been doing this a long time and he was spot on with exactly how long it would take and the number of movers to send. The day before my move someone called me to check in, see if I had any questions, and tell me exactly what to expect the next day. That morning my lead mover called and told me exactly what time he would be arriving. He walked the property and introduced everyone, asked if I had any questions and explained my insurance options before they got started. He assigned tasks to everyone and they where off to the races putting every thing in my 2500 sq foot 3 story townhome in boxes and on the truck. The guys asked questions as they had them and I felt very comfortable that they where listening to my needs. Overall it was a great experience. Peter even checked on me the day after to see if I was satisfied. If you want to work with movers who are honest with their timing, will answer as many questions as you may possibly have along the way, and value your feedback - this is the place. Thanks peter for making this another great experience with helix!

I had a very positive experience with Helix. Communication was good. The crew was on time, extremely courteous, worked very hard and did so efficiently. I have not moved in almost 20 years and it was a daunting experience to say the least. I was probably less prepared than I should have been. The crew was very patient and accommodating with my questions and requests. I highly recommend.

Helix provided quality service at a phenomenal price. Jorge and his team showed up on time, protected all my furniture, and efficiently moved everything out of my old home. When we got to the new house, they took direction well, made suggestions for best room layouts, and got all the furniture re-assembled with no issues. I would definitely hire them again.

Srecko and his team were amazing at helping me and my roommates move!!! They were timely, efficient and courteous throughout the whole process. Great job and kind/hard workers. Polite and professional experience! Thank you much Paul and Edwardo for your service and making my experience wonderful! Its alot of worked moving items up and down stairs and in and out of the truck. You are appreciate! 100% Would recommend! They wrapped all of my furniture and were extremely careful! They took things apart and put them back together. Definitely schedule your move with helix company! They check in with you to communicate about the move and how the experience was. They come prepared with tools and make things seamless as long as you have packed everything and are pretty organized, it’s not difficult of a move at all!!! Thank you guys so much again!!

Paul and his team were amazing. They went the extra mile to make sure all of our things were well-protected and even finished the job an hour earlier than the estimate. We appreciate them being friendly, professional, and great at what they do. This was by far the smoothest move we have done because of Paul and his team.

Paul and Elvin did a great job! They finished the move under the time allotted and even helped pack up some of my leftover items and rearrange the furniture in the new place. There was a miscommunication about the timing though - I originally had scheduled the move for 11am, and then someone from Helix called the day before and said the movers were coming between 9 and 10am. Then, the morning of, the movers called at 7:20am saying they were on their way and would arrive before 8! It ended up being fine but whoever is in charge of scheduling could have done a better job coordinating.
