I have used Hawkins 3 times in the last 5 years. Once for replacing water damaged flooring in my basement dance studio with new luxury vinyl tile: then carpet removal and refinishing a hardwood floor underneath it plus installation of an outdoor rug in my enclosed patio; and this month, removal of a kitchen floor and replacement with luxury vinyl flooring. Each time the job was done perfectly. They will work with you for your satisfaction. The kitchen job got started, and I changed my mind about the vinyl tile color. No problem. They interupted the job and got the better pattern I requested. 100% satisfaction.

They did a fantastic job! From taking out our old tile flooring and putting new hardwood down in it's place and then sanding and refinishing our old hardwood floors so it all matched seamlessly, couldn't be more happy.

Hawkins Floor Co has renewed our faith is small independent business. Carl, the owner showed up on time, guided us through the options, set up the install date, and everything was done perfectly by Mason and Jose - two veteran employees who knew exactly what they were doing. Extra moulding and some paint was needed, and it was handled seamlessly. We were very impressed and will be definitely be using Hawkins again. Highly recommend!

Hawkins floors installed a new luxury vinyl floor in our kitchen. We needed the job done quickly. Carl Hawkins came out to give a quote. He was very informative and his recommendation for the best flooring to use was spot on. Mason did an outstanding job installing the flooring. He is truly an expert at his craft. We look forward to using Hawkins Floor for our future flooring needs.

Hawkins Flooring installed a new wood floor for our 60-year old kitchen last month. It’s a small kitchen, but the job required three separate appointments (put down the floor, return to sand and add polyurethane coating, return to add final coat two weeks later). The Hawkins team came on time and completed everything right on schedule. The team members were outstanding - pleasant, happy to answer any questions, efficient, and cleaned up perfectly afterwards. They even touched up a couple of minor blemishes on the wood flooring elsewhere in our house. The pricing was very reasonable. We cannot recommend Hawkins highly enough.

We hired Hawkings to refurnish the hard wood floors on the first floor of a very busy house. The floors were new in 2012 so had endured a lot of wear and tear. Hawkins guaranteed their work and came back after the initial job to redo an area that needed better attention. We greatly appreciated this. They made multiple house visits in the process and are communicative, honest, responsive and professional. We had a great experience with Hawkins replacing the living/kitchen areas in our condo. They were very considerate of our stranger-reactive dog and worked very quickly. We were very pleased with Hawkins Flooring from start to finish. We redid every room in our house. Hawkins handled everything. They refinished floors, installed hardwood in an office, carpeted a couple of bedrooms and installed vinyl flooring. Everyone who worked in our house was friendly, hard working and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. A big shout out to Mike and Jose.. they were faced with a difficult situation with our stairs but came up with a great solution. Everything looks beautiful. This was a big job but Hawkins Flooring was really easy to work with. You won’t be disappointed. My friend recommended them to me for my stair carpet to help my dog to go up and down the stairs. They did a fabulous job. The owner came to my house 3 times to measure to make sure the landing part fit well. Everyone I have talked to from the company are nice and professional. I am very happy for the final result. Highly recommend to everyone.

My experience with Hawkins Floor Company in Gaithersburg, MD was excellent from the initial contact to the completion of the project. The staff was polite, professional, punctual and very helpful. The pricing was competititve and fair. The staff was communicative. Totally transparent. No surprises. Questions about materials, process and duration of work were answered readily.Mason and Jose (the flooring techincians assigned to my project) did an awesome job! They demonstrated great craftsmanship. Mason is indeed a master craftsman and professional. They exhibited great attention to detail and impressive precision.
