Pharmacist charlottes and Evan are wonderful people and I truly am thankful for them.Only reason I took a star away is because they’re a little hard to reach sometimes like most pharmacies but charlotte helps right away and her kind, patient attitude makes up for it

Placed my express lane order twice today and both times my orders were canceled. The second order said that it was in the process of being delivered. Never arrived. Piss poor service-Instacart/Harris Teeter.

It's a shame because I was going to give the pharmacy 5 stars prior to picking up my medications today. I was greeted with rude, mean-spirited, passive-aggressive behavior that was uncalled for by both techs behind the counter. I used to work in customer service, and if I told a customer they were infamous or alluded to the customer they were a giant, unnecessary burden, I would have been rightfully fired from that job. Do not use this pharmacy! The staff needs to be retrained in basic customer service etiquette.

Now I understand why artisan bread is much cheaper by the half loaf than by the whole loaf. Half loaves are on sale this week for $2 each while the whole loaf is $6.49. They take the old, unsold whole loaves and put the old stale bread into small bags and sell them as half loaves. I hear some fast food restaurants will sell ONE day old bread for 50 cents each. Harris Teeter sells half a loaf of TWO day old bread for $2 each. I bought a half loaf today and when I got home, I tasted it. It was dry and stale. Looked at the Pack Date and it was TWO days ago. My fault for not checking it while at the store. Not worth my time to drive back to return it but now I'll know.

I ordered a sandwich online. When I got there I asked the lady on her phone that I'm here to pick up my sandwich. She yelled to someone else who was already working at the deli counter that " a customer is here". 10 minutes later the busy person comes over to start mailing the sandwich that I had orderEd ahead of time. You know - so I wouldn't have to wait. I guess the phone lady was too important to help a customer.

I want to give John a very deserved thank you for helping me out on Saturday, May 28th. We were hoping to get the buy 18 yogurt special but found that area bare. John took a moment from his re-stocking duties to go into the back and bring out 6, 12-count trays of yogurts! We got exactly what we needed. I know he could have dismissed me, but he went that extra step and that says a lot in my eyes.

That's funny great customers service!? What's really funny is when your heart doctor sends in a prescription for your heart and they question you about it but it would be something new for you so you don't know much so they say dont worry about it and you receive a calls to make sure you are doing ok on the new meds that the pharmacist told you not to worry about and never bother to fill. Who needs a healthy heart?

First let me say that I have never felt so compelled to write a review about a grocery store but I have had nothing but good experiences at the Harris Teeter in Gaithersburg. It started with Ed right before Halloween who was as friendly as can be and helped us find great deals on decorations and candy (without us asking first) and cut to today when my girlfriend and I were looking for a cake and Beatriz (cake decorator) went above and beyond to show us several options and even allowed us to try one of the cakes. This is the level of customer service that all companies should provide. Until this point I had only been to Harris Teeter once, but because of their customer service I will make it a point to drive the extra 10 minutes to come here. Hope all who read this are safe and healthy!

Its a decent HT. Moderatly priced. Store seems empty most times. Departments like Seafood and Deli always has friendly staff willing to help or assist. I like how they keep the store organized and clean. I can always find a shopping cart at its designated location. Their meats and seafood are good quality. However they lack in staffing. You have to hunt someone down to get help, better luck in going to customer service if they are ever at their counter. This happens at any given time of the day. Pharmacy peeps are ok. Deoends on who you get and they are S L O W and expensive if you pay out of pocket. Check out: i dont like their layout. One lane for your cart and other for yourself. Hire more staff ... quit being cheap HT.
