I have tried to cancel my membership 3 times by showing up physically at the gym, and during all of those 3 times, I was assured that the membership had been cancelled. However the monthly payments kept on coming in.As a result I had to block the payments through the bank and get a new credit card.

Cancelled in December, still getting billed in April. Called numerous times, no manager has gotten back to me, and now my calls don’t even go through. What sort of business malpractice is this?If you sign up for this gym just remember you’re signing up for life.

We joined Gold’s Gym at the Airpark location and transferred our memberships to another location when we moved. Years later we decided to cancel our memberships (after they closed location that was closest us), and the cancellation process was terrible. We first tried to cancel shortly after the covid shutdowns ended and the manager begged us not to cancel, and offered us a “free” membership pause; I reluctantly accepted the “free” pause, and months later they started billing us “pause fees”. About a year ago we formally cancelled our memberships and Gold’s Gym even sent us cancellation confirmation. A few days later, they notified us they would keep our accounts open just in case we wanted to come back! Now, a year later, they are still trying to bill us monthly dues!!!If you join this gym I hope you enjoy it, because you will be a member for life.

If Gold’s is really about to close all the other locations in the area, ya’ll need to clean this one up big time. Filled with high school kids just standing around taking up space, takes 3+ weeks to fix a machine, steam room out of order for 3 months now, they just fixed a roof leak that sat there dripping for over a month. Staff are really nice but managers are stoned a good portion of the time, the entire place reeks on the weekends. Gold’s is insane if they think this location can hold up while closing 3 others. Upper corporate management do better, don’t just blame your staff.

Staff and the people who go there are always friendly. This gym feels like home

I really want to like this place. I go because of the close proximity to my home. And the staff there are all friendly and helpful. However, there are times I choose to drive farther away to the Olney location for several reasons: it is SO dirty. A gym should prioritize cleaning. I think the only thing they do is empty the trash. The carpeted areas are gross and need replacing. There's even cobwebs in some areas. I see the same handprints on the mirrors every time I go, so those aren't cleaned either. Cardio equipment isn't wiped down at the end of the day. There no evidence of vacuuming. It's also humid in there on most days. I love that there's a bay door in back that they open on NICE days. I hate that it's open when it's humid and hot. The AC struggles to keep up, or doesn't work. I've been bitten by mosquitoes on multiple occasions. Some of the equipment needs replacing or repairs. There's not enough free weights (i.e. maybe one set of 25s). The overall gym experience is okay. Their primary concern should be the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the facility. It's not what you would typically expect from a Gold's Gym

Great gym until they jack their prices up without telling their customers and when you cancel your membership, they still charge you and tell you have to give notice to cancel your membership. What a way to rob customers

People are very nice here. Nice variety of machines and free weights. I like the room up top with a view of the airport.

I am a former personal trainer and a lifelong martial artist so it is easier for me to find my way around and navigate the gym setting- however the equipment, the layout, the clientele, and the staff all create what I would call an ideal gym setting. I love this place.

1.Parking lot needs illumination as it's too dark at night.2. Machines need repairs ASAP !3. Cleaning has been forgotten in this place.. trash, dirt and dust is a day to day issues every day.4. Sauna/Steam room needs some serious help.5. Add more cleaning/ hand sanitizers around the gym (two cans are not sufficient) ! We're leaving in a virus society that this is mandatory.More importantly , People not wearing a mask is not acceptable . They have an"exception" that's just a joke . either were one or stay home !!GOLDs Gym Make it right for us loyal costumers!

Very clean and professional gym. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Especially Michaelangelo. They do have an Olympic platform with bumper plates and some squat racks and benches. I highly recommend this gym for anyone local.

I was visiting family in MD and needed to get a lifting session in. I explained my workout to the manager, Michaelangelo, and he let me peruse the gym prior to charging me for a day pass. The equipment was perfect for my needs.

Facility is neat and equipments are placed conviniently along the space. Jerald, the general manager was considerate and helping. Parking is right in front of the door away from the main road which is great. A view of the airport at the entrance is beautiful in the evening ☺️
