4 kids per 1 instructor. $40 for a 30 minutes lesson. If you do the math, it comes out at $320 per hour. Kinda pricy swimming lesson. And your child only get 7 minutes of personal lesson time. Not worth it. The parking is also pretty bad

The team at goldfish - from the front desk staff to the teachers - is just stellar. They are so patient and so friendly. Even as a parent, I enjoy going in to the school every week. They meet the kids where they are and help them get excited about swimming. Facilities are clean and well maintained, and the kids learn a ton!

We have been members of the Goldfish family for about 3-4 year now. Both of our children are currently enrolled, and we have had a wonderful experience both with the teachers and support staff. They are welcoming and friendly to all- always available to answer any questions or concerns. I am very confident in their abilities to swim this summer and I know that if I am unavailable to be with them- they know the skills and safety knowledge to have fun while always being responsible and safe in the water. I would absolutely recommend Goldfish to others- esp the Gaithersburg/Kentlands location.

We have two kids attending and have spanned across a few levels of swim. We love the teachers and had a wonderful experience having them enrolled. Seeing the confidence they have in water compared to when they started is night and day, we couldn’t be more grateful for the progress they have made.

My kids love it here!! My daughter is always asking when she is going to swim. They do a great job with the kids and helping them master their skills.

We have been learning at Gold fish since last year and my kids have been enjoying it. Their swimming skills are getting better. I wish we could have more swimming team lessons on Saturday so we can still continue. The best investment for my kids.

So far we love it. I really like their casual option. Front desk staff has always been kind and responsive and the instructors my son has worked with are great! If you have any concerns, definitely bring them to the General Manager, she’s super invested and will follow up to hear you and help how she can!

Going to give the school at 2 out of five for the management of the curriculum. Staff and the teachers are phenomenal they are wonderful and very friendly. But I don't see the fairness in putting one teacher for four kids and you pay $39 a lesson. It's completely unfair and completely waste cause my son have been there for 5 months and did not Excel or learn anything at all. I wish the management and and change the teacher to ratio student.

Our daughter has been taking lessons at Goldfish since the Mini level and she is now Junior 3. She feels so special when the teachers recognize her, wave, and call her by name. Her favorite instructors have been Mr. Deacon and Miss Jamie. Miss Jamie is so kind, patient, and FUN! She is such a great teacher and truly cares about her little fishes ❤️ Thank you, Miss Jamie and crew!

Amazing introduction to the water and I already see so much advancement in development in and out of swim class after only a few classes! Love the staff and the facilities have everything we need!

The swimming pool got closed on Sunday. They informed about closure on Sunday 11:04. When we already drove there with our toddler for 11:30 class. No token was provided. The explanation was that stuff wanted to celebrate the holiday on October 29.

This review in no way reflects the swim instructors. The instructors are phenomenal! The swim school has recently undergone management changes. Last week (Sunday morning) we went into the facility at 12:17 p.m. along with other paying clients. We were very quickly approached by Connor (the new assistant manager) in a very rude and unprofessional way. He immediately ran (and I mean ran) to the door and said you can’t come in here because we don’t open until 12:20. First of all, if you want to be so strict on times, you should make swim lessons take the full 30 minutes that they should be and that we pay for. We have two daughters enrolled and one has lessons from 12:30 -1 and the other one has them from 1-1:30. They always dismiss early but I took note and they dismissed the 12:30 lesson and 12:57. I’ve never brought it up but if you want to be so picky and stringent about times, it’s a two way street. I’ve seen other complaints about lessons not being a full thirty minutes. Rules are rules but the way you approach people is huge. Ourselves and two other families were discussing how completely unprofessional Conner was in handling the situation. I emailed and asked for Nicole (the manager) to call and got no response. I will say that I complained about them closing so much and shortchanging us lessons. They wanted to offer make up tokens. That was taken care of by Nicole by crediting us for classes which was appreciated. If management (Connor) continues to treat clients the way he treated us and the other family members the amazing reputation that the school has will quickly go down hill. Rules are rules but my personal opinion is that when it’s freezing and you have kids outside you let them in. It caused absolutely no disruption and parking is a nightmare at the facility.
