I always have a wonderful experience, but I especially want to give a HUGE thank you to Irene, the pharmacist. She has amazing customer service and is super helpful. She completely understands the urgency for me to get my meds and she always goes above and beyond with service. She makes sure we understand the instructions for the meds. She truly is the reason I still get my prescription filled at this giant location. Thank you so much Irene for being empathic, having great customer service and being all around amazing!

There is a pharmacist that has denied giving me my medicine and I had to get my doctor involved. They have been out of my pain medication that I've been prescribed... the one she originally denied me for almost 2 months now and will not give me my prescription back. This is and has been an ongoing issue at this location. The one pharmacist is rude, very short and downright nasty if you even try to challenge her. I moved all my other medication to a pharmacy 20 minutes away.

The products here are limited compared to other Giant Food stores in the area. It is best to go early to avoid crowds of kids and teens wandering the store aimlessly. The attendants are pleasant but some of the other customers lack manners and social awareness. Located in the Diamond shopping plaza, be careful entering the parking lot. Pedestrians and drivers make sudden moves that require utmost awareness.

This Giant Food no longer has a meat or seafood department. The produce selection was not great. Staff was very kind, however.

Giant Pharmacy/ Flower Hill When I call about my prescription, I was told in one hour it will be ready. And then suddenly it be came 1 and half hours. However when I came after 1and half hours, I was given a token and had to wait another 42 minutes.

Worst giant I have ever visited. I was at the store exactly at 6 am in the morning to check the bakery for fresh baguette . I usually try not to rush the employees since I realized they were kinda busy moving the trays around. No one greeted me or acknowledged me and I was the one and only customer . I stood there for 18 minutes!!!!!!! 18 minutes and no one gave a fig! There was the manager , a lady with glasses and a tall bearded guy with glasses as well. None of them gave an ounce of ****! They even didn't ask what I was looking for or what was wrong with me that I was just patiently standing there saying nothing! I left with no bread that day after wasting 18 minutes of time .There's also this very welcoming cashier guy. I'm usually the first and only customer in the morning . It usually takes him a few minutes to show up at the register , never greets , always looks so unhappy like I have made him come to work or I have woke up him up in the morning to come to work. The most unfortunate part is that every single time I have to see him and cope with his beautiful attitude!

Went in for a flu shot and the gentleman who handles the front was very rude. Cancelled the appointment and Will no longer return to this pharmacy for vaccines or prescriptions.

I came in to get a Covid vaccine on my lunch break, expecting it to be a fairly painless process. There was only one person working in the whole pharmacy and I was told that it would likely be a minimum of 45 minute wait, past my appointment time, just to get the shot (then you have to sit down and wait after). They are terribly understaffed and inefficient. I was one of dozens of incredibly frustrated people here. The one person who was doing vaccines was inconsiderate of other people's time when asked about how long it would be, she said to just sit down and wait.

Made an appointment to get COIVD booster here the day before I went and filled out the form. When I got there, they had lost my form and forced me to fill out a new one. After waiting an hour, I was told they couldn't give me the booster because I "wasn't eligible because I wasn't over 65 or immunocompromised." Yet, the CDC, Maryland Vaccine Center, and other reputable sources say because I received the J&J vaccine more then 2 months ago, I was eligible. They stated this, not privately, but out in the open where others could hear. Very unprofessional. I was able to get the booster of my choice at a Safeway pharmacy and it only took 15 minutes total. Avoid this place as they clearly are not up to date with any health protocols from the CDC, are very disorganized, and will discuss things with you out in the open. The only reason they are receiving 1-star is because Yelp won't let me leave no stars.

This Giant location is not upholding mandatory mask order from state of MD. Not too concerned about the safety of consumers. My third time visiting the grocery store, and saw so made employees wearing their masks either under their nose or mouth. There were also many customers walking in with no masks and it seems to be fine with them?!? I couldn't believe there were no one regulating the mask order, even to their own employees.

The pharmacists are incredibly accommodating and constantly going above and beyond. I can't imagine how anyone could negatively review this establishment and their services. Highly recommended.

As far as Giants go, this one manages to stay well stocked compared to other Giants in the Montgomery County area and overall the staff is friendly and responsive even during the stressful times of the pandemic. Aisles are clearly marked and layout is logical.
