I lived here for 3 years and truly enjoyed my experience. ALL staff members (front office and building services) are so kind, friendly, and helpful. There is a lot to do within walking distance while still having a small-town feel. I would recommend for anyone to live here.

Not an enjoyable experience living there in the slightest. I moved into a unit where the balcony door was inexplicably open and the place was filthy. For example, mold and hair covered the bathroom wall. After my requests to fix these issues were ignored for week, the building finally addressed some of the issues only because I left a negative review in response to a survey. However, they refused to fix some issues, such as a broken garbage disposal and stained bathroom counters.
Issues continued during my tenancy. The apartment was freezing for two months because you apparently have to slam the windows and hold them down while locking them, or else air will still come in (what?). The halls were regularly filthy, with animal feces and urine left in the halls for days or even a week at a time, along with trash and random debris. Once, a dead mouse was left for days. When I complained about this, I was told I was making it up and that I should be raising the issue every time I see it, as if I'm a janitor for the building. To be clear, this issue was regularly raised by tenants on the building's app, in a message board for tenants.
It's also very difficult to sleep in the building, given it's directly next to a train station that sees a train go through several times per night.
Cars are regularly broken into in the garage. Doors into different parts of the building regularly stop working, which is a problem when access points within the building are few and far between.
They also appear to try to rip you off. I moved out early due in part to these issues. The landlord has a duty in that situation to mitigate damages by finding a new tenant. I moved out June 30 and leasing office told me a new tenant was moving in July 12, meaning I only needed to pay through July 11 (great). But later, they tried charging me through late October, then walked that back to only charging me through July 18. Even that seems fraudulent - the landlord will not provide evidence of the period of time for which they were actually paid rent by the new tenant (no surprise there).
Ultimately, I would stay far away from this building and any other building owned by Equity. Landlords like this should not be supported. That being said, on a positive note, the maintenance and janitorial staff were all very nice. As were most of the leasing office staff.

The leasing team is amazing! They were polite, informed, and answered all of my many questions. When trying to adjust to a new community, things can be overwhelming. The staff here has been great with ensuring our move was as smooth as possible.
The community and amenities are beautiful and the neighbors seem to be friendly and welcoming!

We had the worst experience with the application process. I applied for an apartment in mid-late June. I had called the day after applying because I saw another apartment I liked better. I was told that apartment had just been taken, but with my current application I needed to verify our IDs. The lady said she would get back to me by phone or email by that evening and I never heard back from her. I tried calling a few times and left a voicemail. My husband ended up calling that weekend and got a hold of Sean who was apologetic and helpful, but said there were no notes that anyone had talked to me about the ID's. We sent our ID's that weekend, but have not heard from anyone since. I had tried emailing Sean several days later, it said he was on vacation, so I emailed the one he had in the auto-reply...never got a response. We tried calling several other times since then and nothing. We saw the apartment we applied for back on the website and they had returned our holding fee with ZERO communication about why it was returned, let alone what other documents they would have needed from us. Literally weeks with no communication and we can't pop into the office since we're in another state. Truly the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered while trying to lease an apartment!

carryout. Never been so happy to come home. My Neighbors are very cordial and polite. The floor I live on is quiet, and very clean. The flowers in the courtyard is very pretty. I just love my home.

I've live at Gaithersburg Station Apartments since 2014 and it has yet to disappoint me. From service to sales I couldn't ask for a better team to oversee this community. No matter the request, my expectations have been exceeded beyond what I asked for. If you're looking for a place to call home I promise there's no need to look any further.
Thanks Team Gaithersburg - You guys & gals Rock!!!

There’s literally no management here. The building is in a bad shape, something is always broken, and it’s usually the same thing over and over again. Goes to show how much even a solid management will do for a property, it's just sad this complex is neglected and not cared for by the “gm”

I lived here about a year and a half ago. There were mice, and when I say mice I mean multiple mice, running all through my apartment. The pest control and maintenance team could not figure out where they were coming from for months. July till I moved out in October I had mice constantly in the bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen. Dead mice outside the apartment as well.

My girls and I absolutely loved living here! We were here for almost 2 years and we are definitely going to miss the community and friends we’ve made.
We walked through the courtyards daily when there was nice weather but our favorite was the pool. We’ve lived in two different apartments, and there was always an amazing view, as the grounds were always kept and greenery offered just the right amount of privacy. School, groceries, and shopping are all literally less than 15 minutes away.
Easily one of the best places we’ve ever lived
Thanks Gaithersburg Station !

The apartment staff delayed in getting back to us, so I sent my daughter in and then things moved along nicely,
