I’ve gone to Fitzgerald to have my 4Runner serviced since 2018. Yesterday they lost my business for good by attempting to charge more than double what I’ve paid (with small cola increases) for years. Also told me I needed new brakes before even looking at my car. Meanwhile, I had just had my front and rear brakes done! I had them return my car from the bay before any work was done. As I left the valet person was aggressive towards me. I walked away and waited for my car to return and left that dealership completely disgusted and will not return for any reason. I hope they get back to how they were for the years I’ve gone to them, but they lost my trust completely. If I could give zero stars I would, especially given how tactfully and reasonably I attempted to salvage the time spent driving there and driving back with nothing done. I’d check the other dealers in the area. I’m going to one of them for my service today and am hoping for a better (normal) experience.

The worst costumer service, is my second time at Toyota Service Center and this guy called "Josh or Josue Guerreo" needs to fix his actitud as costumer service representative, he needs to be more polite and respectful to older costumer, apparently he's one of the person how speak Spanish here, my mom requested to translate and he just acted like he was the busiest man in the world, when obviously no other peoples there, then he told us to go talk to another person who clearly had no idea what we're requiring. So if you are a Spanish speaking person prepare to be ignored by Josh.

I’ve been going here since 2009 because my old mechanic didn’t work on hybrids. While their prices are a bit high, ( as most dealer service centers are ) their work is reliable and excellent as is the service, so I guess you get what you pay for. It is also nice that they know everything that’s ever been done on my car.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

Taking your vehicle in for collision repairs is always a huge pain. I dropped my car off with Bethany and Gary and they made this a painless experience. They took care of contacting my insurance company, getting supplemental repairs and they did a fantastic job repairing my vehicle. When I picked up my car it was clean as pin and had no signs of having body work done. They have s top notch operation I absolutely recommend them.Service: Body & Trim

Very kind to talk to, but they weren’t able to replicate the issue. I had to ask them to try and replicate in the same conditions— not sure why they didn’t attempt that before telling me they couldn’t replicate the issue. Never mentioned an issue with my light until I arrived and was told there was a bulb out for my rear camera. Turns out when I asked them to show me, there was WATER in my light and a crack. None of that was documented or listed. And no one gave me an estimate or a chance to fix either the “bulb” they claimed was the issue, let alone the entire light fixture- which clearly needs replacing.During their diagnostics, they found fluid where it didn’t belong, but weren’t able to find the cause. So they told me to drive it and come back in 500miles to have it checked. That makes me incredibly uncomfortable as there is clearly a major leak and they want me to drive for 500 miles and then come back again.I drove the car this morning, and sure enough, the SAME PROBLEM that I brought it in for happens on my commute this AM!! They asked me to document if it happens again and bring it back in.I am not happy having been charged over $300 to not find the problem I brought it in for, to have found another problem they don’t know what it is, and an oil change where they failed to properly identify an EASY issue and failed to give me an opportunity to have it remedied while they still had my car! A manager was supposed to call me back, but no luck so far!VERY disappointed and feeling incredibly unsafe driving my car.

My 1st visit with my new car was disappointing. A 15 minute wait just to get to the service advisor. I got a nice text and email from the advisor saying I should contact him with questions. I sent a message and never got a reply. When I asked about the progress on my repair after waiting 2 hours, I got the sense the advisor either was totally unaware of the situation or the staff had misplaced my car. I ended up waiting 4.25 hours and my (admitted lying challenging) electronic display issue is unresolved. To their credit, I voiced my concerns/disappointment with the Service Manager and felt like I was heard. Happy I bought the car at Fitzgerald: not so sure whether I'll feel the same way about service. I'll give them another chance at my first regular service (with a request for a different service advisor!)Service: Electrical

1.- I do not know why they do not cover the seat and the floor like in other dealers used, when technicians working on my car?. Also , after get my oil changed for my car, they do not was washed my car. It was not raining day. 2.- Lounge looks clean, coffee station looks nice, I did not get anything from the station, but it is good you have it for customers and employees. I think so bottle water or station for water it will be good complementary for customers and employees, instead have a spend machine. 3.- Lounge have 2 Tv’s, but one was on…??. Thank you.

They installed a trailer hitch we arranged for when we bought the car. They said it would take a half day. We dropped the car off before 9:00 am. I called mid-afternoon when I hadn't heard from them and got a litany of excuses--it wasn't their fault, a outside subcontractor was doing the work, the sales department should have told me an outside company was doing the work, I couldn't expect them to stick to the schedule they gave me because another group was involved, etc. The car wasn't ready until after 5. There was no apology, not even any sense that they had any responsibility to abide by their own schedule. I guess I'm lucky I was only inconvenienced and didn't miss something important. This is why I vastly prefer using our local independent place when at all possible.

UPDATE:The dealership did reach out and refunded the money for the AC service I had not cleared, so I am changing my original review. I still am dubious about the necessity of the AC service.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Be careful. Brought car in for scheduled free maintenance check. Was told it also needed tires balanced and aligned. Said okay. But was also charged for AC service that no one asked for permission to do. The work also took at least an hour longer than estimated.

Shane was very professional and friendly at the service desk. He took me to the shop where the mechanic and the service shop manager explained the work that needed to be done. The parts that were needed arrived quickly and the car had major repairs done within 24 hours. I asked for a coolant flush and an oil change and to have the spark plugs checked. I requested these services after the initial estimate and they were able to help. They did not charge for checking the spark plugs.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Usually I am pleased with the service here however the experience this week was not a great one. Although making appointments, dropping off the car, etc is usually smooth and I appreciate the responsiveness and attentiveness; however, I brought my car in this week for a problem that ultimately couldn’t be fixed. I waited for approximately 2 hours and asked if there were any updates and how long it would take to know when the car would be ready or at least if the problem could be fixed and couldn’t be given any timeframe. It ended up taking 3 hours to tell me there was nothing that could be done. When I brought my car in I saw that the agent wrote $180 on the paper which would have been fine if something was actually done. I expected that there would be some sort of fee for a diagnostic but my problem couldn’t be fixed nor could they diagnose the specific problem without doing further work which would have cost over $1,000. When I asked what the $180 was for I was told for “trying” to fix the problem. I would think the cost could have been at least cut in half since there was literally nothing done except an attempt to fix it which was unsuccessful. I was a bit shocked that I was still charged $180 for labor when there was no labor. I think many other places would have either not charged anything or it would have been a fraction of this.

It’s always a breath of fresh air to know you’re going to a service department that isn’t out to get you. This is one of them. My family has been taking their Toyotas there for over a decade and things always go smoothly. It keeps us a part of the Toyota family. When you call, ask to work with gerges, he’s the man!! I also know their manager Gil who’s the kindest person I’ve come across as of yet! Thank you Fitzgerald Toyota for keeping my family safe on the road!

Update to my previous review. I wrote a letter to senior management and explained the situation. I was contacted by one of their general managers. He was extremely nice and offered to reimburse me for the new hubcaps that I purchased. It is upsetting that it required having to take the time to write a letter (after the initial damage was done and the bad feelings were solidified), but it was comforting that senior management cared enough to respond and ask to fix the situation.

Worse place to take your car!!! Please safe yourself some time and money. I took my new 2019 Rav4 for a wellness check and a burn smell and they told me everything was okay with my car, soon as I left my steering wheel wasn't working and I took it back they checked it again and they said everything was fine and I told them yet again that there was a burning smell and that the steering wheel wasn't working and then they found out that the alternator wasn't working. So I took it this morning to get it fix and they told me not only was the alternator bad but the harness wires were burnt out. I started reading the reviews and decided to go get my car. Soon as we drove off my car turned off, got it to some mechanic somehow and as soon as they opened it to see the motor they saw right away wires had been disconnected and cut ( i have pictures). They were also going to charge me $829 just for the alternator + another $3,400 for the wires. They made me pay for unnecessary stuff because they said it was "urgent".The representative that helped me was Steve. I hope they close this whole place down. They will legit fuck your shit up to get your money. They're tiffs and they don't know what they're doing. I should've known the min I saw my former hs classmate working there, w no experience or mechanic certificate. Fuck you people at Fitzgerald Toyota auto service. If my car comes out to have something crazy wrong with it I will be suing!!!
